I have not used any of those but "best" is subjective depending on your needs. I highly suggest hitting up Youtube and watching some reviews on them. Especially videos by DJLsb and/or PBusardo as they get more technical and put the devices on an oscilloscope to see how accurate they are, instead of just giving opinions.

Not Smok. I just ordered a Voopoo Drag to replace my Smok Alien. The Alien is only a month old and battery meter goes up and down, screen sometimes just quits, I've had 2 occasions where I found the watts at 124w and 220w

That's not an Alien, that is the new Smok Possessed. It's supposed to act that way. :D

What do you want out of a vape? I do recommend Vapresso products, they're good. I won a Tarot Mini and I like it a lot, but it's tiny, and although the battery is fairly powerful, it needs to be charged via USB, and if you are looking to sub0hm pretty low on a mod, I wouldn't recommend that one for this reason, also the tank is small as well, you would be refilling constantly. Maybe a larger Vaperesso kit? Something with removable, rechargeable batteries? I don't have hesitation recommending Vapresso's stuff though, it's well built and well designed, they're nice mods. If you aren't interested in temperature control, something Smok might be okay but do know they don't always have the longest record of longevity, although those that get well QC smok mods and take care of them seem to do well with them, although I'm not sure (myself) that I would recommend them as a first starter device, some of the tanks and coils seem to be prone to leaking if not handled correctly, and that can just be a pain isolating what is wrong on one's first device. Best of luck,

Anna

I second the Vaporesso. Also Segelei. Rock solid devices. I've dropped mine soooo many times and the worst that has ever happened is the batteries falling out.

However, I must warn you the Vaporesso tank that comes in the kit is not a favorite among vapers... the coils burn out super quick, and the airflow is awful. Dodge that bullet and get the device separate from the tank. Kanger and Smok both make awesome tanks. I'm especially fond of the Smok Baby Beast and Big Baby Beast tanks.

Anything but SMOK mods if you want my biased opinion. ;)

Never been a fan of "kits". I always purchased my mod and tanks separately based upon their own merits. Often, manufacturers will include a cheap tank with their kit to make buyers think they are getting something for nothing. Often those tanks turn out to be crap.

@fifamymaingame , you don't have to tell us that in your world, it's "all or nothing." Believe me, we know it.

And OMG, is that avatar picture YOU? Are those tattoos? I rather like them, actually but this does sort of "explain" your employment situation.... Facial tattoos... "Not for the faint of heart."

Well, he's of the age where that's more accepted among youth. I don't judge someone for tattoos and facial piercings, but I hope they do know that a lot of society will judge. Also, my kid has no interest in facial tattoos and piercings, but he knows I would cause him extreme suffering for getting some, because I have also taught him society's norms will often trump "free expression" and personally, I am SO GLAD I have one (small) tattoo that I can hide.

LOL, the first time I went to rehab our "psychodrama" lady had a teardrop (among other things) that she couldn't get removed from her face, entirely. She talked a lot about the value of not getting tattoos while inebriated, and the cost and pain of removal. It was fairly educational, and the thing you noticed MOST about her FIRST was the fact that she had like, the remainder of a blue teardrop in the wrinkles under her eyes.

But, I see no reason for anyone not to do what they see fit, and the "learning to live with the lifelong consequences" is the hard part.

Here's something someone else wrote about the topic. It's the best represents my views on the whole facial tattoo thing:

Judging people on their decisions is the right thing to do. I hate when people confuse judging a person on their decisions with the person appearance or the like. Judging people for the way they behave/act is the fabric of society. Judging the way you look not so much, but bear in mind you made the decision to stretch your ears and while that may not reflect your mental capacity or moral standings it does say a little something about your priorities. If looking a specific way be it stretched ears, a boob job, or any long list of permanent changes to your body that affect your ability to get a job and provide for yourself then it is only reasonable to infer that you are less committed to your employment than your social standing.

Guys be careful with all the SMOK bashing. You are going to invoke an OlderNDirt rampage. :D

Don't worry, that ship has sailed. But it does say a lot that my pointing out deficiencies, errors, and even outright falsehoods with some of the anti-Smok claims is viewed as a "rampage" whilst "anything but Smok" bombardments are just "educating" the uninformed.

I got it! Only selective differing opinions are allowed!

I absolutely apologize if I offended you. It was meant as humor. Rampage may have been a poor choice of wording.
