Hi everyone,

Been reading quite a bit about mods and I think I want one, can you please help with some recommendations or info about some of these to help me make a decision? I'm narrowed it down to these 5:

Provari - looks good but expensive! Is it worth it?

Joye eVic - pretty cool but only 5V... will this be a problem? My favourite so far probably because of the screen!

Innokin iTaste SVD - Nice one I think but is it too big?

sigelei ZMAX - Like the screen but don't know much else

Vamo VV - Don't know anything about it...

I've seen PBusardo reviews on a couple of these but CBF watching for 45 min to find out if good or bad

Can you guys help me? Thank you! :)

I would say it depends on your needs. Price, quality, size, features, ect.

I bought a Vamo and I'm very happy with it. But I was concerned about price. And I definitely wanted a VW Mod. The Vamo has a lot of great features and it's priced pretty low.

A lot of people here will tell you that the vamo isn't built well, but I have found that it's built pretty solid. My wife has dropped hers onto our hard wood floor 3 times now, and it's still works great.

That's my :2c:

Vamo gives all the same options(minus puff counter for evic) at a more reasonable price. Had mine almost a week now, and couldnt be happier. The provari from what I hear is better build quality, but dosent have variable wattage(which I have yet to use on my vamo) and the evic just seems too gimmicky for me.

the other nice thing about the vamo is that it can be used with a 18650 battery, or one 18350 battery(shorty mode) or 2 18350 batts (high amp mode).

I think you are on the right track watching PBusardo videos ... really it's more of a personal preference thing than anything else as all of the devices you listed are more than adequate; they all have their pros/cons so it comes down basically to which one fits your criteria best. I know that probably doesn't help you much other than confirming that the devices you have listed are valid contenders ... there are others of course but I won't muddy the waters for you anymore than they already are. :)

Vape On! :)

Welcome , you will get alot of different opinions on this , but I personally , just sold both my Provari , and Evic . I now use both the Vamo , and the Sigelei Zmax . In fact , I own two of each of these . Both are well built , both have both VV , as well as VW . I have the SS versions of these , so they have a good heft to them . I just got the new telescoping Zmax , and my only complaint , is that with an 18650 battery , the threads on the telescope , show just a bit . Doesn't affect operation , only a cosmetic thing . The regular Zmax is fine . No complaints , at all . And the Vamos are working good as well . I have had my first one for several months , and recently ordered , and received a second one from China ( took about two weeks ) Best of all , these are all cheaper than the Evic , and especially a Provari . But you need to decide , how much you want to spend , what features are important to you , Warranty , etc .
But good luck on your decision .

i ll be honest, all this things is the same. its just a vv battery, none of them let you down, all this mods satisfy your needs. all this mods have pros and cons... for example; provari is a solid thing, high build quality but i think really expensive... evic is really good, easy to use, has direct usb charging, more techy but feels fragile. zmax is a solid thing like provari, looks good, but "in my opinion" sgelei zmaxs menus not user frendly etc...

VV lets you change the voltage according to your taste. VW keeps the wattage the same no matter what ohm device you put on it. If you buy all your tanks/attys/cartos with the same ohms you'll never really have to adjust a VV device. I bought the wife an eVic for the VW. She can put whatever she wants on it and it pretty much vapes the same every time. It means I don't have to set it for her but once LOL.
