I own both a vamo and an evic and I love both of them. The vamo is solid and is perfect for everyrhing I put on it. Just wish the kanger t3 would fit on it without an adapter. The evic is a really nice mod too except for all the unnecessary bells and whistles. I have never used the mvr software and dont plan on it either.
I mainly bought the vamo as a backup to my evic but I use the vamo now as my primary mod until I finally pull the trigger on the provari lol

I have an eVic and love it. It does look a little fragile, but I can attest that it is not. For example I was smashing up boulders in the backyard today with a sledge hammer and the eVic fell from my back pocket onto limestone. Didnt so much as scratch the paint. It jarred it enough that it turned off but that's it. Not the first time I've dropped it either. The finish on it doesn't attract scratches or fingerprints. I've had it since 4-2-13 and it has taken several hard knocks. It looks and works the same way it did the day I opened the box.

Edit: Even the Polycarbonate? screen cover is scratch free.

Hi everyone,

Been reading quite a bit about Mods and I think I want one, can you please help with some recommendations or info about some of these to help me make a decision? I'm narrowed it down to these 5:

Provari - looks good but expensive! Is it worth it?

Joye eVic - pretty cool but only 5V... will this be a problem? My favourite so far probably because of the screen!

Innokin iTaste SVD - Nice one I think but is it too big?

Sigelei ZMAX - Like the screen but don't know much else

Vamo VV - Don't know anything about it...

I've seen PBusardo reviews on a couple of these but CBF watching for 45 min to find out if good or bad

Can you guys help me? Thank you! :)

Hi!

I'm also looking to buy a mod and if I had cash to spare I'd get a Provari. As things stand now though I think I'll end up with a Vamo.

The Vamo may look like garbage(just my opinion) but I've probably watched 4-5 reviews of it and read up quite a bit and... it just seems that the Vamo gives the most bang for the buck.

Cheers!

I have all except the Provari. From my experience, I have not had a problem with any of them. From the four, my favorite is the Innokin SVD. It's solid, versatile battery configuration, came with 2 iclear 30s, blue LED ($15 upgrade for the Provari), vv/ww, and quite frankly, I think it is the most aesthetically pleasing.

Having said that.....I'm ordering a Provari 2.5 and Mini as soon as my local B&M restocks.

Just what I was looking for. What kind of an adapter would be needed? (very much a noobie here :) )

Yeah I thought for ages before pressing the Buy button, won't know how happy I am until I set everything up and start using but figured if I don't like either of them then I can always sell them... Don't think I will though.

Its funny how details the mods can get, colour and LED and options... Buying a car is easier! :D

Yeah I've always been the type of guy to buy the best of whatever is available at any one time and with ecigs there never seems to be a "best" anything... so many different mod and tank types, as the choice gets better it also gets harder...

I really wanted the eVic for the screen, nothing else looks like it but I figure over time more Mods will catch onto that craze, the plain LCD will bore people after a while I'm sure but in saying that the LCD is basic and fool proof so there will always be a market for it e.g. ProVari.

My only concern with the Mini is the battery life, it wasn't any cheaper than the basic size but I wanted something more compact.
