Having had some success with rebuilding my Protanks using microcoils and cotton wicks, I want to take a step up and get a rebuildable tank.

Not interested in a dripper - I already have a Smok mini RDA and while its great, I like tanks.

I don't want anything genesis style - has to be pretty leakproof and not have a vertical wick like the RSST etc.

I'm considering a Russian 91% or Kayfun Lite. These seem ideal to me but I can't find stock anywhere.

I don't like the look of the Fogger as it appears the coil area is more cramped and I'm guessing this would make it harder to work on?

I've not seen any of these tanks in person, only online pics and videos. I don't even think there's anywhere near me that carries things like this (Dallas, TX).

Are there any other tanks out there that maybe I'm not aware of?

Thanks in advance!

Genesis types don't necessarily require a vertical coil-
This is my daily carry- UD AGI with cotton and micro coil. Will leak slightly if left on its side for a long period of time, but otherwise no problems at all, even with the fill plug out.

To me, the Ithaka and Kayfun Lite vape nearly the same. I feel like the Kayfun Lite is available. You can PM me if you are still having trouble. The Russian 91% has been in a few co-ops for under $60.

For microcoils, it seems like the Kayfun Lite is very popular for this use. Although, you can pretty much use microcoils in any RBA.

You're probably looking for awesome flavor and I heard plenty of success stories coming from the Ithaka when it comes to that. The Taifun GT would also be a great choice as you can build just about anything in there. I haven't tried these myself yet, but I'm very tempted to make the taifunGT my first high-end atty.

My main reason for not wanting a tank of this style is leaking and having to consider air hole placement

My RSST doesn't leak. If they suffer from leakage I'm not aware of it.
Air hole placement must be considered for all rba's unless I'm missing something.

Microcoils and cotton wicks have been working very well for my IGO-S, IGO-W and IGO-L. I know the OP isn't into drippers but I just had to share. :D

Couldn't agree more. The only thing I don't like about the IGO-S is how easy to top comes off.
I have to constantly remind myself to remove the drip a certain way......carefully.
So far I haven't been able to find an online vendor who sells the o'rings for this thing or o'rings that'll give the cap a snug fit.

try removing the orings and laying a few wraps of dental floss under them and reinserting the orings over.
