I have been vaping now for a few years and it seems like i have tried everything. I want to try my hand at an rba and see what they vape like. Any advice on what to start with? Price really isn't an object as long as i get a great product. Also, where do i get the supplies needed for wick and coil etc. and how do i decide what type to use? Thanks.

If you want something small, get the Chinese clone of the mini-DID, known as the DUD, Griffin, Vulcan, and COV-1. Every store selling these has their own name but they are the same. If you want something large get the AGA-T or the AGA (also sold as the Birkshire).

Both devices are standard Genesis designs, nothing unusual about them to trip up a beginner. And they are cheap.

If you are considering a dripping RBA, the Phoenix is a good choice. I started with a Phoenix clone and have rebuilt with nichrome and kanthal wire of various gauges. My first wick was silica and then on to cheesecloth. I rebuilt my first stainless steel wick on a Phoenix and it worked great. It was good practice for the DID clone I primarily use now.

Best bet is to buy wick and coil materials separately, because it'll be muh cheaper. Ebay is great for those.

The DUD, AGA-T are my two favorite genesis-typ clones, and the A7 and Phoenix are my favorite dripping RBA's. The expensive ones are mostly pretty nice and, again, mostly made of better materials, but I would test the waters with something cheap and simple first. The clones can be set up to function just as well as the more expensive ones.
