I have tried other KR808's and that's definitely not the case. I tried one and it was like trying to suck a milkshake through a coffee stir. Your eyeballs pop out trying to get a vape.

I guess I've only had madvapes kit, a Mistic Kit, and a EliteVaporworks kit (The EVW currently sits on the bottom of pleasent lake in Rockville, MN:() All three preformed the same, and I have never hit the limiter on any of them. I can't imagine taking a 13second toot on any PV.

I started my sis off with the volt(longer ones 75mm). I was highly impressed with them and wish I would have known about them and started with them instead of the lil 510batts. I liked them so much I bought two (75mm) for myself for when I go to work. I was surprised on how long these battery’s kept up! I think that Smokless Image has good RY4 and Vanilla. They also have cool lil things like colored caps for your carto’s so you can remember what kind of juice you have in them. Like red for cherry, purple for grape or blueberry, etc…Use their code and I think it is 10%off. Shipping is superfast and customer service is great.

Compared to who?

They are asking 19.99 for 30mls of their juice @ 6mg
VS
Let say Madvapes for instance
7.19 for 30mls @ 6mg
Or EliteVaporWorks
13.95 for 36mls @ 8mg
or VermillionRiver
16.95 for 30mls @ 10mg

Now V4l's liquid is not @ Vermillion Rivers Quality level IMHO... Why do they think they can charge more?

I've shopped with both companies. V2 cigs cartos have a horizontal coil, hold more juice and in my experience last longer (can be refilled more often) than V4L cartos, which have a vertical coil. I've had a better run with V2 cigs batteries, they have lasted longer. In relation to flavour options, V4L have a lot more than V2. Price wise V4L get the tick, especially with their sales.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd go with V2 cigs batteries and blank cartos and fill them with decent juice from somewhere like deejSTUFF. If I was looking for a one stop shop I'd go with V4L. My experience with both companies has been good.

+10 for Smokeless Image

And heres why, I have 4 of there there batts manual and auto, 4 months old and still chuggin. Customer Service +1000, they are great, always answer questions and go above and beyond. Shipping, +2000!, if you order before 2pm est its shipping the same day. I live in the midwest and usually have my order within 2 days. Plus they have great prices without having to depend on a sale.

Now the downside (in my opinion)... I was not a fan of there pre filled carts except for RY4, not a big deal cause after 2 weeks of vaping I was getting blanks and filling them with the juices from vendors. This is super easy to fill your own blanks so dont think its a daunting task.

Their PCC, the cool one that glows, charges great but is pretty brittle, I unscrewed a batt one day and it ripped out the wires and was dead. BTW you can get better 808 PCC's for less $$$ and more durability.

So in hind sight Im not waiting for a sale to get everyday good prices, I still have my Volt batt's and get my blank carts from other vendors as well as juice from other vendors.

Just my .02 cents

just pick one and mix and match from there, i vape exclusively 808's and i have several diff models, they're all pretty much the same. there are some minor differences but honestly none worth mentioning.

i prefer the auto's, but i've grown to like the manual's as well.

as per the v4l, the only problem i have with them is that their batts have alot of issues working with other company's carto's for some reason. it's like a 50/50 shot. other than that i highly recommend, v4l, bloog, v2, smokelessimage. like i said just pick one and buy your accessories from wherever.

or do what i did and buy a bunch of batts from a bunch of diff places :)

Of course it's unlikely anyone needs 10-13 seconds but 5 seconds is too short for me with manuals: press the button in 2 seconds early so lot good vapor is ready when you start dragging and that only leaves 3 seconds for a drag. The choice is 5 seconds or longer than 5. With the 5 second ones I have to limit my early pressing to 1 second early so it doesn't cut off before I am done dragging. And I do not have a big mouth or lungs.

I listed the features of each and people can choose what they think they want. I vape 3 different kinds of KR808D-1 batteries. I've had good service from V4L. Volt sent me the wrong battery first time I order (sent auto instead of manual) but the exchange went smoothly - fortunately I was not in dire need so the delay in getting what I actually ordered didn't bother me. Bloog I've only ordered cartos from and they came quickly. Choose which kit or batteries & charger you want and you can use supplies from all of them - you are not locked into the supplies of the one you buy kit or the batteries and charger from.

Here's what I do.

Auto

(2) I keep them charged for work, cause they look like a cig and its easy. Especially wearing gloves in this state of Michigann. So if your cold weather bound like I, Auto's are great. I vape auto's even when i'm on the couch, doing laundry and have one in the pants pocket.

(2) manuals for when I am drinkin, do the math, and anytime I want a more full fledged hit.

Mind you I preffer the manual like most to control the hit. Which I love, but there are some instances I like an auto like the bar, work or even driving.I ala carted a kit which was cheaper than what smokeless image offered, did 3 manual batts, 1 auto and a pcc. The pcc is awesome, just be super careful cause they are brittle when unscrewing the batts). I made sure I got the usb chargers with the batts (awesome). You cant go wrong with SI and the Volts, I would try out the carts and then order cheaper carts and refill with juice. Dont buy 9 million carts with you kit or ala cart. Try their pre filled, then get blank carts for 5.99 a 5 pack from someone like goodprophets.com or other vendors and other juice vendors. Get an atty or two sample juices before ya waste a cartomizer with juice you dont like, at least you will get to sample the juice intead of wating a cartomizer. Hope this helps!

I got mine at NexCig quality electronic cigarettes cheap and have been very happy with it. I get blank cartos and fill with my favorite juices from various vendors/DIY.
I think the NexCig one is the exact same one as the Volt, if Im not mistaken.

I recently ordered blank cartos from V4L because I wanted to try LR cartos - V4L calls theirs WOWcartos. I normally wouldn't have ordered from them because their shipping price is more expensive than a box of cartos... but they had a sale I couldn't pass up.
Just got the WowCartos in today and they are terrific.

Try different cartomizers - from any of the vendors I listed or any 2.5 to 3 ohm KR808D-1 cartomizers (you want to be close to the 2.5 end for a warm vape). But I find the Volt/Bloog cartos are very good cartos and I like V4L WOW cartos too but I think the Volt/Bloog blanks are better. I always use good cartos. I want at least a week of use out of each (which is 2 weeks for me since I vape the KR808D-1 a bit more than 1/2 the time). I don't mind spending $2 per week to have a good carto.

Hi rtr720!

My husband and I bought a starter kit from V2 and it's pretty nice. We also got the notebook cig and I use that for myself. I love it! Although, as you say they are pricey. I'm going to be getting a Smokeless Image VOLT kit for myself, soon. I've seen the reviews for it and it looks just as good, if not better, than V2. Plus, they're not as expensive and have more flavors! Good luck!
