Mike, You need to find a different machine
shop. I don't care if it raises the cost per unit ten dollars.
I don't think I have ever seen so many errors or problems in one customer order like yours. And on top of it all to actually ship parts that are completely the wrong material? Unthinkable.
When my father retired from the Coast Guard twelve years ago he opened a machine
shop specializing in custom parts and small lot parts production just like you ordered and we have never, and I mean never had problems like these buffoons you are dealing with.
I don't see how these guys keep customers doing business like that. A machine shops reputation is its ability to provide exactly what the customer orders on time and within specification. This is not what you are getting.
