Has anyone ever tried mixing their e-juice with some kind of high speed device? Like an electric mixer or a drill with a tiny whisk attachment? I know a lot of the steeping process has to do with flavors aging but as for the mixing and aeration process has anyone tried anything like this and if so what were you're results? Thanks!

Keep your heads in those clouds!

I owned something that was reminiscent of a centrifuge. I used to use it to mix my bottles but stopped once it started shooting the bottles at me in the middle of the night. Darn machine...almost reached for my firearm because I thought someone had broken in. Then I realized that a burglar would not be throwing bottles at me as I sleep.

when your making your own juice a electric mixer of any type would be handy. after that why would one want to re-introduce air back into the mix. i thought the idea behind steeping was to let the product settle out all the air for a more homogeneous liquid.

I don't think that there is Any Clear Cut Definition of what Steeping Is. Or even Does for that Matter.

Some want to Introduce Air and Dream Up creative ways to Aireate their e-Liquids. Some try to Limit Air Exposure by Overfilling Bottles or Injecting Nitrogen into the Air Gap.

And some, like myself, just put the Mix in a Cool, Dark Place and forget about it for 4 ~ 5 Days.

Ain't nobody got time for that!

And if you do, pm me your address and I'll send all my bottles over for a nice whippin';)

I prefer to just throw it in a drawer like zoidman, come back in a week and it's tasty goodness!
Pretty inventive though, and if I diy'd it sounds appealing! Too bad Clark and Katy get all my e-liquid moneys!

Milk frother sounds great and was recommended by a fellow "Lordy" in his fine youtube vid on mixing juice. But i've looked in all the local shops and none sell them - except one had one that came with an expensive coffee maker.

I find myself measuring straight into bottles while a mixer like that would have me use a beaker or such then transfer to a bottle after. Still want to try one.

A centrifuge is used to separate stuff, not mix it. Its artificial gravity and the heavier stuff all goes to the outside of the ....orbit and the lighter stuff ends up floating on top.

Anyway look up ejuice mixer on youtube - it seems like a hobby in eastern europe to invent your own device to mix bottles and people have posted them by the dozen. From a little wire wisk powered by a fan to robot arms.

I have a tool called a multi-tool - various cutting and sanding heads for it. It vibrates side to side maybe 1/8 inch stroke but up to 20,000 times per minute. Reminds me of what an orthropedist uses to cut off a plaster cast without risking cutting skin. I strap a bottle to it with velcro and run it at different speeds and it mixes up a storm inside the bottle.

I use a milk frother when mixing. It works very well for me. I tend to make juice when I need it or am running low and I don't want to wait 2 weeks for it to age. With the frother, I find my mixes are ready immediately even if a few (mainly custards) continue to improve a tad over the next few days.

How small of a batch size can you mix?

I was thinking about trying this. Warm the liquid slightly to make mixing easier, then add a device to spin/mix it quickly. I am gong to try a motor from an RC vehicle. The electric motor should give me about 30,000 RPM. If that doesn't mix it nicely, then I don't know what will.

I tried this tonight and I have to say it worked fantastic, at least for agitating the juice. I used a piece of stainless steel wire and bent it to kind of give it wings to ensure it agitated the juice. Stuck it in my drill and let it run for about 1 minute.

I can say that it definitely mixed the juice. After a minute it looked like I had the froth on a cappuccino all through the liquid, you couldn't even see through it.

You can definitely see that the juice has been finely mixed and I would expect aerated also. This should help get out any alcohol residue.

I will try out the juice next time I fill and see if there is any change.

So after digging around the house to find stuff to make something with I finally just went the barbaric route. I cleaned and sterilized a drill bit and just wrapped a bunch of kanthal around the end crudely. (Reminiscent of old action movies with baseball bats that had barbed wire wrapped around the end Lol) I put it in my dremmel and stuck it into the bottle. Thankfully I tested it on a spare bottle filled with water first as I had the speed set very high and about halfway through the mix process I caught the side of the bottle and spun the whole thing in my hand like crazy and making a mess. So I modified the whisk doo-dad and made the wire more uniform and smooth. Now it works great! Mixes amazing and makes the liquid nice and foggy from aeration. I currently only have old juice but when I get my new stuff in the mail I'm going to try it again and see what the flavor is like before and after. I'll let you all know how it turns out!
