While we are on the subject of 801's, it seems like I can take one or two drags off of my 801 atty and then I start to get like a burnt or plastic taste. If I wait a little bit between drags then it seems to be ok but if I take two or three consecutive drags then I get that bad taste. Any suggestions?

I tried the tea bag a few times but didn't have alot of luck with it. Maybe I was doing it wrong. I have heard a couple people mention using fluval. I am not sure what that is but maybe I'll look into it. The regular filler seems to work ok on all of my 510 stuff.

That is a common issue with the true 801 atomizers (high-bridge). Not only do they have that issue, they only last a few weeks. If you switch to the RN4072 version (low-bridge) you will never have that problem again, and your atomizers will last a lot longer.

The longest I ever got out of a true 801 was 3 weeks. The Totally-Wicked RN4072 atomizer I am currently using is over 3 months old and still going strong.
