The day i started vaping, the day i quit coffee intake including any caffeine drinks. I'm not sure why too. Simply do not have the urge to do it.

I cannot live without coffee when i first started 4 years ago. I need to have my morning coffee if not i'll just not make it through the day. I also needed my analogs along with my morning coffee. I drink black coffee, no sugar no milk. Simply love it black. Now i can't even pull myself to the kitchen to make myself a piping hot coffee.

As i progress on with coffee i realise i needed more coffee during the day, so morning one cup, afternoon one cup, evening one cup. About 3 cups a day.

Now as i've mentioned i don't even drink coffee. When i was working in a market research company dealing with coffee research, i came across some people who doesn't drink coffee, and i'll go "why doesn't that person learn how to enjoy coffee?" Now i realise that i don't drink coffee, Again.

I guess it has something to do with the nic? Nowadays i wake up feeling fresher as opposed to when i was with analogs. I'm a PAD, and i need to light up first thing in the morning and my coffee. Now i don't do either.

I just vape.

Cheers!

I got rid of my 12 cup maker because I can't drink the whole pot myself anymore. Instead I bought one of those keurig 1cup makers so I can enjoy a designer coffee now and then. My sister told me when I decide to quit smoking I won't be able to tolerate all that caffeine I am used to, she was right. We used to be able to drink coffee all night and then go straight to sleep. If I drink a pepsi anytime after dinner I can't sleep. I have changed over to a cup of decaf now.

I work midnight shift and since I started vaping, there are times I do not finish the first 24oz cup of coffee. I would usually get another at lunch. I only drink one cup of coffee at home, and that is while I am getting ready for work. I use to drink two cups before work, and two after I got home in the morning. I vape alot more then I ever smoked, and since nicotine has a similar effect as caffeine I figured that is why I don't feel the need to drink as much coffee.

My coffee intake actually went up. I have always loved coffee from before I smoked so that could be why. I just quit coffee last week because I was up to 10 cups a day and having trouble with stress and sleep. I seem to go through this once a year though. Give me a couple months and I will start the whole cycle over again. So ah... yeah vaping didn't slow down my coffee intake :)

Drink ... less ... coffee? I understand the words themselves, but I can't make sense of that particular combination.

:)

I don't drink a whole lot of coffee to begin with, actually. Typically about a cup a day during the week to kickstart my workaday morning. I usually have tea after work, and might have coffee on weekends if the wife and I are out, or if we want a nice Bailey's coffee. But to drink less would mean virtually giving it up, and I'll give up my morning coffee when I'm dead.

Read that Nic intake reduces caff. "Nicotine suppresses the effect of caffeine, cutting some of its stimulating properties in half or even a little more. "
Effects of Cigarette Smoking – Nicotine

Shouldn't be an increase of caff to get the kick? Unless the nic levels are high enough to 'replace' caff?

Weird.

Cheers!
