Even though I have a couple of liters of theirs in the freezer I haven't tried it though but have heard it's pretty decent.

If I were you, before buying even more liters of it, I'd try some of the 2 liters you have from them already. I was glad I'd only ordered 1 when I ordered from them. First, it was 180mLs short of a liter. Second, it had a "peppery" taste/vape that no other nic I've tried has had. Many say that people who like to vape tobacco type eliquids, like it the best...because it's got that "peppery" taste/vape to it.

MMMMM, thanks for the heads up.

What other nic out there that is decent? I'm not a fan of Nude, I find it is harsh

Yeah I definitely want the glass option! I know I could just pour the plastic into a glass jar but it will be nice not to have to do that

I don't think Heartland Vapes has a Glass Option to have Nicotine Base shipped in.

That wouldn't be a Deal Breaker for Me. 90% of DIY is Pouring one thing into Another. And I would rather break down 1L of 100mg/ml Nicotine Base into Four 250ml Glass Bottles anyway.

Most on here recommend that when you freeze your liter(s) of nic base for longterm storage...you should break each liter down into several smaller sized bottles (30mL or 60mL or even 120mL, etc.) before freezing it. That way, you can take just 1 small bottle out as needed to last you awhile.

You want to minimize exposure to oxygen, and having to remove very thick nic base from that liter bottle that's been in the freezer...each time you want to make a batch of eliquids. So, paying for it to be packaged in a glass bottle, IMO, isn't necessary, if you're going to break it down into smaller ones when you get it.

I've tried NN, WL, RTS, and MFS. I've liked all of the first 3 personally, and didn't find any harshness, nor taste at all, in what I received from them. But, I only make my eliquids at 6mg finished nic, so that may make a difference. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of any of them, if I didn't already have an 18-20 year supply of it in my deep freezer! For the price difference though, IMO, RTS Vapes Nic base is every bit as good as the NN and WL, which are both higher in cost.

Yep.

There is Also the Smashy-Smashy factor.

If I'm going to drop a Semi-Frozen Bottle on the Kitchen Floor, and make a Big Mess of Broken Glass and 100mg/ml Nicotine Base, I'd rather do it with a 250ml bottle than with a 1L bottle.

250ml's Fit better in my Freezer Better also.

Me, it's easier to store in 1 liter bottles. When I need to break into a bottle this is how I plan on going about it

  • Take 1 Liter (maybe 2) out of freezer
  • Let it naturally come to room temperature which should take a good day or so
  • Open and break it down to 240ml bottles
  • Keep 2 or 3 out and pop the others back in the freezer

100mg in 100% PG

Was just wondering, since you said you'd break down 1 or 2 of the liters from the freezer, and leave 2 or 3 of the 240mL bottles out and not refreeze them. Just thought you were maybe buying premixed base and therefore would use a bunch in a shorter period of time.

At the 6mg nic that I make my eliquids...I could make (80) 50mL bottles of eliquids from 240mL of 100mg/mL Nic base. That would last me about 14 months. But, I forget that many people vape much higher nic levels, and probably more than my 10mL per day at most. :)

Math was off, it was rather late ;)

Revise that to leave one 240ml bottle out, store in a cool dry place and re-freeze the rest ;)

Vaperstek throat hit nicotine is pretty good and I don't pick up any peppery taste or harshness..Crystal clear..

Maybe some others can chime in on the throat hit Nic.

As long as it doesn't have a peppery taste, I don't care about the throat hit. Probably because I vape at 18 mg

It doesn't have a peppery taste at all, I heard they call it throat hit because they let the nicotine oxidize a little bit..it's better and cleaner than wizard labs nicotine for sure.

What tank do you use to vape?? 18mg is crazy lol.

I don't use high powered devices . I use an ego aio, subvod c and home skillet. Plus, I've only been off cigs for almost 6 months.

That's about the time I started dropping my nic, it was a fairly easy process to drop to 12mg then down to 6mg. For me though going from 6mg to 3mg was hard. I bounced back and forth between 3mg and 6mg for a while then finally settled on 3mg.

One thing you'll find when you start dropping is the flavor is much, much better at the lower mg levels.

Well that something nice to look forward to! So many of my juices hardly taste like anything at all
