Most of my first mixes were made with lorann samples I had lying around in my kitchen at work. Now I bring my box 'o flavors with me to work at least once a week. I've done ice creams and sorbets, sauces, whipped cream, pasta, great for souffles. Added bonus - I give my receipts to my boss for my flavorings and get reimbursed. :)

Now that I think about it, does anyone have a tofu juice?

Ewww.

I mean, doesn't tofu just naturally take on the flavor of whatever else you mix it with? At least that's what I've used it for in the past when cooking.

But the idea of a Whey vape is kinda... well, ewww.

EDIT: although... mixing tofu with some of the flavorings isn't a half-bad idea. I happen to get migraines, and soy is a trigger for me so I avoid tofu now. But for those who eat it, it seems like a good candidate for flavorings.

Take firm tofu and throw it in a blender with a large quantity of Parmesan cheese and a whole roasted garlic. Blend together the lay a parchment paper on a cookie sheet and make the paste in a thin even layer. Bake on 250 until the whole thing becomes crisp. Break apart and use to dip your favorite salsa. (No carb cheesy garlic chips without the texture, or taste, issues of tofu.)

So if I am reading you right then PG/VG is basically the tofu of the vaping community!

I will have to remember that. I am trying to reduce my carbs also.

This right here is an excellent candidate for bacon or dill pickle flavoring.

To be serious for a second, read the ingredients on almost any packaged food, you will see "artificial flavors", that's what we are using, same things. You know that guy at the office who always has on way too much aftershave, you are smelling the same compounds that make those flavorings. Acetates, Dimethyls, Aldahydes, Lactones, the list goes on. Caryophyllene oxide is a strong, spicy wood note used in many tobacco flavorings, and, as an added bonus, it's a powerful anti-fungal!

The flavorings we use in vaping can be applied to almost any culinary application. They work great in cakes and cookies. To make flavored coffee, dilute some flavor with strong vodka, or PGA, and mist the beans, dry, grind and brew...
