I told my husband that joke and he loved it. He has an affinity for germans, lol.

I am only 27 but my health is crap and I feel old because of my body going to crap. I am on tons of different medicines for tons of different issues and last time I worked in retail I had to quit because my knees went to sh- after two weeks. For the last six months or so I have been going to many different kinds of doctors for a bunch of issues, so I am not working right now due to frequency of appointments. In the last couple of months I have gotten referrals for so many different specialists. Endocrinologist, neurologist, reproductive, gastrointestinal, and allergist, and also starting a chiropractor for my knee pain. I have had EEG's, ECG's, MRI's, XRays and CT scans. It's like I turned 26 and my body just decided to give up. It is ridiculous.
You didn't get the extended warranty :)

@sincerelysasquatch - Hi there almost neighbor! :)

Been there since you were about 4, but...you're just a "baby" so to speak, at only 27. The vehicle I drive all the time, still love, & regularly get asked if I want to sell it...is older than you as of last June.

Tampa's pretty much smelled the same in the last 40-50 years. Back in the early-mid 60's it didn't smell anything like it does now. Was still kind of clean air around it then.

I wonder if getting away from Tampa, and it's lack of really good air quality now, would have any affect on your health problems? Any doctor mentioned that yet? Sorry you're experiencing all of that. It's alwful for someone so young to be having such issues already. I hope they find out what's up, and can help you.

Thanks. My health really went downhill after I was pregnant with my son, and a fair amount of my health issues are impacted negatively by the substantial weight I gained during my pregnancy that I am having a hard time getting off. :( But the adorable little bugger is so worth it. He is my biggest motivation to get my health in order, he is only two and I need to stay around for a long time for him :)

Is that your MRI in your avatar? I have pictures from a brain MRI I had. They are pretty cool.

Yup, its from a recent MRI. My neurologist was quite pleased to find evidence of a brain ... :D

I do believe its the best picture of me ever taken ... :)

Well I would hope nobody younger than 18 for God's sake!

I'd wager there are a few tale telling youngsters on the board. Eventually they will either get caught or old enough.:glare:

Ahem...the way Florida smells just might have something to do with the millions of northern visitors we've gotten down here each year for many many years! :)
You're prolly right, and being located in boot is prob not the best location in the state to judge its odor.

But it was just so weird, a 'sour' smell that permeated everything.

I opened a grapefruit a few yrs ago. It was sprouting. I put the seeds in a ramekin full of soil on my back porch.

I wound up growing two grapefruit trees, in Ohio, in containers. They kept getting attacked by aphids, and finally died. The soil in those containers had that same, weird smell
