Okay, Steve will understand why this thread. :D Hi Steve!!!

Please only post here if you are using 14500 blue protected Trust Fires either purchased from Deal Extreme or from High Tech Dealz.

Please tell me how these are holding up and working. I'm talking about brand new ones. Do they stay strong for 4-5 hours with no voltage drop off or are you having voltage drop off quickly after a full charge?

Please share with me your experience and it must be on the exact batteries I am talking about above. Thanks!

Remember, these specific batteries and used in your Protege specifically.

These are the TrustFire Protected ones I'm using in the Protege,
DealExtreme: $5.64 TrustFire Protected 3.7V 900mAh 14500 Lithium Battery (2-Pack)
I never really took notice of any difference from the batts that came with the unit except for the length being longer. I do find it easier to unscrew the atty adapter 2 turns to allow the batt to fit deeper allowing screwing the end cap on easier.

Those are the ones I'm talkin' about right here dudes. You have no problemos?

I Won I think? Great what was the question and what is the prize?

No dude, I won. Battery #2 lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes before it totally dropped voltage. These things are JUNK. I really could not believe that all the batteries I had could be causing problems in my Protege. But I do now believe Steve is right. Hey I'll call it as I see it. I have 3 others though that I've been using in my stick and they have been lasting, but were not lasting in the Protege so I do not get that. They have been working like a charm for several days now. That's the part I do not understand.

Please speak up if you are using these batteries and having the same issues or no problems at all? Trying to get to the bottom of this to help all of us. If these are that bad of junk, then they are not worth the cheap price. Could it be my charger? Don't know, but don't think so because like I said, 2 of them did it to Steve, BUT I don't know if he tried recharging them......

Since I started reading this thread I took out my Protege and a charged Trustfire protected that was charged a few days ago. Been vaping on it for 3 hours now using a 901 atty. Maybe your charger is tripping off to soon or the battery is. How long does it take to charge one of these bad battery's? What charger are you using, I'm using the one that comes with the Protege.
