Well, he's wrong. If you're in power mode voltage is inaccessible to you and is by no means a constant once you set the wattage. Proven by the fact that if you change atomizer resistance (eg by screwing on a different atomizer) the wattage will stay the same but the voltage will change...

The board is taking care of calculating and adjusting the voltage when you're in power mode, you're not setting it to one specific voltage.
I understand. I think what he was trying to communicate to me is that you don't change the current ... At the end of it, we each understood what we were saying.

You change both by setting wattage. Voltage is calculated and essentially governs how much current flows, both change as you change wattage as they're not independent, Ohm's law illustrating what the relation between them is ;)

That's on the atomizer side, separated from the battery side by the regulator board, different stuff happens there.

Neat thread. Amazing how the mind works and how the "light bulb comes on". I'm sure something will trigger the bulb at some point. I was way into advanced math and decided to take accounting for an elective. Credits and debits just threw me. Could not latch on to that. Quit the class, lol. Later in life in real world applications, no problem. Like it was always there. I can't think of another way to present it beyond what has been said but hang in there. If you really want to get it, you will. Once you get it you'll be like daaaaaa, what was the problem anyway?

What I'm saying (albeit, not very well) is @ 2:44 in the video I posted, above.

Kind of like subnetting, lol - I totally get it now (after about drilling it into my head for months, haha). :)
