opera , black? like black rhinestones? COOL!! if they have the foil backing you can scratch it off and light will shine through- plus, its more 'glowy' between the tip and the jewel anyway- I cant explain it- watch the youtube video - Mistress nomad and decorate your PV- I think is what you need to put in to find it.

I've done this and instead of using plastic crystals, I purchased 8mm cubic zirconias from eBay. They cost with shipping about $1.50 each and they're beautiful. I've also used clear faceted quartz crystal too.

Good ideas! Qfmk, I thought white cause I watched her video and the tip she glues the crystal onto is white, all of my spare tips are all black. The led doesn't show through.
So, I got some pretty stuff for my 801, and I can't get the darn ash tip off. Has anyone blinged out an 801 and had that problem? How do you get it off? grrr...
I dont have an 808 and have never seen one- so I cant be sure- But a few of my ash caps were a PITA to get off- go to the womans room and there is a thread there- someone might have an 808 in it

It might be glued. I believe that someone recommended using a hair dryer to heat it up enough to pry a glued ash cap off.
