Hello @Capslayer, one of the new pods just about to be released is the Smoant Pastio.
Smoant Pasito 25W - RBA POD

It's unusual as it's one of the first on the market that has a dedicated rba (Rebuildable Atomiser coil), and it's from a reputable manufacturer.

I’m not sure I would wish that thing on a new user. Or any user actually. It looks like it’s both tiny and kind of a mess.

The review video wasn’t very positive for one thing quite aside from the reviewer apparently trying to be a new even less intelligible rip tripper.

@bombastinator, I think that the Designers had a meeting with the Engineers and a compromise was made. But at least it's a start and no ideas what the pods are like, or if we'll see any more amendments to the design before release.

Speaking as a former designer, as far as function goes engineering is often more important than design. Designers go to art school. They don’t teach math or physics or even much materials science in art school. Designers can have interesting ideas, and they are trained in how bodies move and how people use and see things. This can be helpful, and possibly even critical to market success, but it doesn’t always mean things actually work. Sometimes designers need to be stopped.

Smok spirals tank rba, coils are a roll of the dice. I gave up with the coils and just use it as a 22mm rba to sit on my pico75. I would ditch it in a second if I could find a 22mm rdl/dl rta to use instead.

@bombastinator, that's what I was getting at. If it works, an Engineer made it. If it looks nice and doesn't necessarily work well, a Designer made it.

But it also depends upon the Designer.

And as for RiP Trippers, he's somewhat entertaining but not necessarily informative.

riptrippers is mostly hated here in the uk the view is his videos are payed content

I did come across a young Canadian guy on YT that was pretty decent and was entertaining and informative, but as always I didn't save the link. Doh!

And have you seen Vic with the Lost Vape Triade at 300 watts @mac-nutty, if you haven't I'd advise you to watch it. It's so funny.

3 months is nothing. This, and two just like it, were my all day every day mods, charged and almost fully discharged every day for over 3 years. Still working all the way. This one was even run over with my riding mower. I still use it weekly at least.

You don’t have to spend a fortune on gear to get quality.

Oh, no, I looked away. Opening lines were enough. No rhythm, bad melody and not a pleasant tone. Lifes too short for bad music, even a couple of bars is too much.
