As an Asian, I have witnessed this first hand. Among my Asian friends and relatives, 75% of them are in science and technology fields. The other 30% are in various business fields.

What makes tobacco addictive, is the naturally present MAOIs. They make nicotine 8x more addictive. All tobaccos have it, to varying degrees. Read about it on Wikipedia, with references.

Nicotine by itself isn't more addictive than coffee. tobacco is a death trap...

How do they know it's not 9x more addictive?
