Why am I going through so much juice?

This method is how the vape shops always teach new people but there are many other tricks you can use. Most cartos will come with the rubber caps on each end or "condoms". You can use the condom method which is you basically filling up the condom just under halfway and inserting the carto into it. The pressure of u pushing the carto into the condom will push the juice into the filler much faster. If this sounds confusing just youtube some videos. This will likely result in some juice wasting but not by much and it is MUCH faster! As for your going through too much juice problem it really depends on what mod you are using and basically the higher the power the faster the juice will vaporize. I don't see this really happening with the cig type you describe. Have you noticed any leaking? Sometimes these cheaper mods if they can even be called that are just not very good at regulating the batteries it may be burning way to hot. I would really recommend upgrading to at least an eGo.

The only leaking I've noticed is once in a while I get some juice on my lips... Is this normal?

No, that should not happen. Did you say what kind of atty you are using?

I hesitate to gainsay Ms Robin, I am growing out of my twists now, but still use them. I swear by the 650 size cause it is not too bulky or heavy. I put it on a lanyard and am using it with one of the new BCC Mega clearos. Very nice vape flavor, big 3.5 ml tank, a good clearo all around.

Ms. Robin is one of those snobby Provari users, so what does she know about those pedestrian eGos anyway?

EDIT: But she is right about the twist, get a twist if you go eGo. A great stepping stone into the VV mod world!

I'm just using cartomizers.

Ahem..... I can see you! I was a twist user and still do......when I break my Provari.... I was totally happy with them and would still be using them exclusively. But my Hubby (with a few pushes in a certain direction) got me the Provari for Christmas. I do love it but I appreciate it more after using the twist and discovering variable voltage.

Ya gotta love a lion...... :p

It's kind of inevitable that you will get juice on your lips now and then. There isn't a lot of QC with these devices. I use carto tanks and I know one brand of carto I use is about to burn out because I will start getting juice up into the drip tip. It happens, but shouldn't happen regularly.

In fact I will rank them for you if you like, here are the ones I have tried:

BCC Mega (Best)
T2
CE4
Vivi Nova
T3 (Worst)

I found the middle three to be pretty close. I hated the T3, hands down the worst I have used. I found the BCC Mega to be easily the best. This is just my opinion though.

Do you, like, only have one tank going and screw it on and off? I have the attention span of a guppy and rotate flavors almost every other drag.

I only kid cause I love you Ms Robin! But you see the wise Ms. Robin and I agree that the eGo Twist (regardless of size) is a great second power source for you. Getting into VV is important, in this lion's opinion at least. Soon you will be ready for the next step...

I am taking that next step now with a couple of vv mods, but I will never leave my twists fully behind. Always I will return to the eGo from time to time. They really are a great little VV battery!

Since I've discovered NET's, I find I'm sticking to one juice until I have to do a refill. So about two flavors a day. I have about 4 Vivi Nova's and two or three mini Nova's and generally when one is done, put a fresh one with a different juice. Let them sit till I have no more clean. then it's time for maintenance mode. :D

I wonder the same thing. I refilled my carto tank when I got in the car and pulled a few hits, but by no means vaped even a noticeable fraction of the liquid. Then I put my PV in my pocket while in a couple stores filling out applications. When I got back to the car, my tank was empty. I couldn't find any sticky liquid spills anywhere either. My juice just vaporized into thin air, which it does all the time anyway, but usually I have to make it do that.

And yeah, what the other guy said: you can't believe the claims about how many puffs you'll get from a given liquid volume. Nor can you believe the ones about how much liquid is equal to how many cigarettes. In what world is 10 ml of liquid equal to a carton of ciggies?

I have two BCCs and a T2 right now with Huntsman, Dragons Fire, and Dark Horse in them, respectively. That is my usual amount of flavors at a given time. I have a couple extra T2's but I try to keep it to three at a time. Sometimes four....

It will please you to hear I am buying an AGA T2 this very week. I am excited to start building my own coils....

Yay! Me too! I'm debating whether or not to wait until one of the local B&Ms has them in stock or order one online. Which one will get here sooner is the determining factor.

i wonder what they call a puff? The claims aren't criminal, but very deceiving to say the least.

I've been having to refill my carto like crazy... Everything I can find says that with a carto, you should be getting like 200 puffs per fill. I would estimate that I'm getting less than 50. It's kind of becoming a pain. I'm using an Aqua Vapor Classic, which is like a cigarette, so I'm guessing it's not some super machine. My ADV that this has been happening with is 80pg/20vg, 18mg nic. Is it time to upgrade or am I doing something wrong? I've heard the better the mods, the more juice you will use. I'm still pretty new to vaping, but I've tried slowly filling it, like 3 drops at a time, then let it sit for a few minutes and repeating that until it starts coming out the bottom of the carto. I'm getting great vapor and flavor production but, it just doesn't last!

I've noticed most of the kiosk-type retailers state one cartridge is equal 1.5 packs of cigarettes. I don't understand where they got that number and why so many use it.
