i got a 510 joyetech starter kit in the mail 2 days ago.. and the word 'love' is an understatement.. its been 2 weeks without an analog (using disposables for a bit)

So today i bought eGo-C Twist with a tank and another 3 bottles lol
(being able to change the wattage was something i wanted)

luckily i have a local shop Eastern Vapors (saugus, MA) where I can get everything without waiting for the mail

ended up spending 2 hours at the shop just hanging and talking to other folks and I must say.. the community of vapor users are just incredible... maybe its because we are all done using analogs .. maybe its something else.. but everyone is super chill and we managed to convert a smoker at the shop into buying one and throwing his last pack of smokes away..

in closing all i gotta say is: I FRIGGEN LOVE THIS HOBBY!

I am in the same boat! It was love love love at first vape. And I've been hanging out in these forums like nobody's business since 1) I have so many questions, and 2) I don't know of and/or at least don't know how to find a brick-and-mortar shop near me. I would really like to SEE with my own eyes some of these amazing setups and this fancy equipment that people are talking about here, some sounding so complicated to a complete newbie like me. For the record, I am using (and loving) my eGo-T and have had no trouble refilling the (wickless) cartridges without glitches, spills or messes. But I don't know an atomizer from a clearomizer from my, uh, elbow. And I have yet to clean my stuff (not sure when I'll need to) and I'm still waiting on some low-nicotine and VG juices since I do get slight headaches vaping (and I know it's not a hydration problem).

Yay for us! I agree, it's a fun "hobby." I'm so attached to my eGo, I pretty much carry it from room to room. I even got a lanyard for when I'm wearing an outfit without pockets!

By the way, can anyone direct me to an e-cig shop near Boulder, CO?!

Glad to hear you're having a great newb experience like myself!

Honestly i've never heard of an actual 'vapor store' until my friend brought me to it today.. and i would have never bought the ego Twist with the tank unless someone showed me how it worked .. watching videos online is still a great backup but i learn better in person..

i think in the next year a lot more of these local shops will be opening up..

and regarding the shop i went to.. he just buys all his juices/equipment online.. he had like 100 packages he was opening up when i went there lol.. he REALLY took his vape addiction to the next level!

The closest shop is in Golden, I think there is one in Lakewood. I've never been to either. You might want to join this group, looks like they had a little get together not too long ago.

Even when I was a non smoker in my youth I always preferred to hang around the smoking crowd. They are laid back, open minded but quick to tell you to "back off" in letters starting with F... not a bad thing, people who are self confident, friendly, but not afraid to stand their ground to what they believe and want. My entire life i've found the smoking crowd a LOT more fun, and interesting people to be around. Now that same crowd is becoming the Vaping Crowd. Same people. Same ideals and standards. :) Just smarter life choices now.
Vaping is an excellent hobby and is fun and interesting with new ideas, techniques, and products coming out all the time.
Welcome to the club Boston

I guess we can't help it. My friends say I'm becoming a collector. Apparently we must have addictive personalities to begin with & all of the options to try different things...juice, mods, tanks etc...we can't help ourselves! Oh well...it's better than smoking the stinkies & I'm enjoying myself! Congrats on 2 weeks & many more to come!

I agree, this crowd is awesome. I can't remember the last time I joined a forum and felt so welcomed. And if Pentarth is any indication, the Jedi are vaping too, so we are all very strong in the force. (Though at just one week in, I myself am but a youngling.)

I think you meant to say Padawan ;)

I just got my training Saber today. Can't wait to start using it.

Sorry that post brought out the geek in me. Welcome to the forums and to vaping.
