I think in Some Ways, I have it Different than people who are Getting into e-Cigarettes Today.
Because when I started, late 2009, Every single this you Bought needed to be mod-ed in some way to make it Work Better. Or in some Cases, just plain work Period.
By it switch the filler in a Cart with Blue Foam. Or Opening the Center Hole of a Carto. Or Cutting Bigger Slots in a Clearo Seal to improve Wicking. Everything Needed to be Tweaked. It was just a Given.
But today, people Kinda Expect things to work Right out of the Box. Which They Rightly Should. But when they Don't, people get Very Frustrated.
Cigarettes are highly technical, but simple to use. You light it, smoke it, and toss it. Works every time just like the last.
Ecigs are all slightly different, the parts may not interchange, and you are suddenly in the battery charging business and having to carry spares everywhere you go. With cigarettes, you bought a pack and smoked them until they were gone, even if you didn't like that brand. The next time, you bought a different brand until you found your favorite. From then on, the habit was static and simple.
I'm hearing more about lung heaviness and wheezing in the last year. It's also been during that time that we've seen new atomizers and tanks that employ dual coils and more efficient methods of atomization. That technology is making droplet size smaller. You can see it in the way that the vapor hangs just like smoke and takes longer to dissipate. This means smaller droplet size and possibly deeper intrusion into the bronchial tubes.
The cure? Vape using the low inhale method. Hold it in your mouth for a few seconds, inhale just enough to exhale through your nose, and repeat. The lungs don't absorb much from vapor, anyway. You will get more nic from the vape if you do the above.
