Personally I find the kuwako to be vulgar and pointless. I want an improved vaping experience, not silly stick on bits. I've seen epipemods work and while I appreciate the craftsmanship, the pipes there are exactly my problem. They all follow the aesthetic traditions of the briar smoking pipe. If "ecigs" had done the same we'd all still be vaping minis or back on analogs. Now the pipe shape offers in my opinion the best of ergonomics and compact design, my point is simply why not modernize the aesthetics. Not everyone wants to look like Sherlock Holmes
Honestly, I think the modern pipe you link to in your original post is very tacky looking (just my opinion). If I'm gonna get a pipe mod (which I will soon), I want it to be classical in style and definitely wooden. The aesthetic tradition of wooden pipes are exactly that: a tradition.
With that said, everyone has different tastes and it if someone wants a space age-looking pipe, that's totally fine. But you have to understand that
everyone has different tastes. If you want an epipe like the one in the picture, contact one of the companies that makes epipes and see if they'll make one for you, but don't knock the people that want something more traditional (which is a lot of people, because the pipes at epipemods and jazz cartopipes sell like hotcakes).
