My only question about dripping is, how do you hold the remote?

You don't.

When you're clamping a Buzz Pro between your teeth, dripping Casablanca into it with your left hand, gripping a Macho Beef burrito (with extra cheese) in your right and steering with your kneecaps, safety is paramount; changing the radio station is the odd man out. Channel surf responsibly.

Exception: in the event you've strayed onto a Sirius All Barry Manilow, all the Time channel, it's permissible to divert a kneecap away from steering duty and attempt button-pushing with it.

Well, if that is how you feel, then so be it. However, I think there is no art, science, or anything in between the two that can be attributed to cartos or ce2s! So, we both have our opinions, and they are both valid. Hey, do what'cha like...but remember, you asked the question about "Why are people still dripping?" so, I was responding to your question, not necessarily trying to convince of the majesty of using attys. If after all these posts you still don't "understand" what the fuss is about, then it is not for you...and that is fine!

To each his/her own.

p.s. I think there is an art to peeling an orange, but some people would rather drink orange juice..

I am not trying here to say that my way is the only way, etc. If you guys prefer doing this, that is fine with me I was just trying to understand why. I thought really, I must just be doing something wrong if this many people think dripping is so great.

Dripping... *Shrug*

I don't love it, I don't hate it. It's nice on occasion when you want to switch up to that one juice just for a brief vaping session or two. I just find the quality of hits over-all so unpredictable and varying. One hit might have waaay too much throat hit, the next oops one drop too many juice in your mouth, or no vape at all and you have to unscrew everything and clean it all out. I like to stay with cartos or CE2s. I vape A LOT though so dripping would just be too much fuss for me.

Dripping is unbeaten for testing juices before you commit them to anything else. I will give it that and that's the reason I have back up attys around.

Man, I tried so hard to help a friend become an atty user and went step by step with him. But, end the end it just wasn't his thing, and I totally can dig that. If I could have the simplicity of a carto with what I perceive to be the superior flavor of a dripped atty, believe me, I would. That is why you see me talking about the Genesis in post #134. It is more than possible to hear me later on talking about how I don't know how I ever dripped! But, that remains to be seen...

Hey, if you're happy, I'm happy!

I agree with the first post here. However like many people have said there is no right way to vape. Everyone has their own preference. I personally prefer tanks as I don't have a lot of different flavors. I've kinda stuck with four so I keep four tanks with different color dripper tips to tell the difference. My wife however likes all kinds of different flavors so she uses the small clearomizers on an auto 510 battery with a pcc. For here its mainly the size of the bigger batteries and does not care for the tanks. I personally feel you get better flavor from the tanks too. The wife has also seen that if i put a new flavor that she likes in a tank and she puts it in a clearomizer both of us feel it taste better in the tanks. Personally dripping is a pain in the rear. I've gotten the refill of a tank down to about 5 seconds and only once a day having 4 tanks.

I'll end with this....it doesn't matter how you vape its all better the analogs.:)

I looked at teh Gensis a few days ago, or maybe it was the Zenisis? Same product? It looks cool but just very intimidating and the price is steep. Good luck.

I was looking for another thread and saw this title so I took a little detour cause I just had to reply. I felt exactly as you do the very first 3-4 months I vaped. I tried all the atomizers that came with all the PV's I had purchased. I thought, this is just awful, and I though a cartomizer tasted so much better. Then I tried an i06 from Ikenvape. I finally discovered what all the fuss was about. The 510 atties I had tried were just awful. Burnt taste and just didn't get a good hit. From there I have now tried Cisco 306's as well as the HH .357 which is now my absolute favorite. I have never tried a Zenesis but was up all night the other night on sale night trying to get one but, no luck so I can't tell you how they compare. If you are worried about having to drip all the time you can get a vapemate. They work great and my husband used it for months before moving onto a Reo which is also another great option if you don't want the hassle of dripping.

Personally I just got tired of having to replace my cartos every day or 2. When you vape 3 or 4 different juices that's a lot of cartos and a huge waste of money. If you have never tried a 306 type atty or a HH .357. maybe then you would change your entire outlook on dripping. I love my Reos and am looking forward to trying out a Zenesis when I can get my hands on one.

This is a good point. I was dripping with 510 SRs and LRs back in the day, but I still kept trying out cartos as new models came out. It wasn't until I tried a Cisco 306 that I decided I'd never use a carto again. Premium attys make all the difference in the world.

I was going to try a HH.357 but they were out of stock in 3.0 ohm the last time I ordered. I plan to give one a shot the next time I need to stock up.

Dripping From A Devoted Carto User

When I got started into vaping about 6 months ago I decided on cartos. The learning curve was easy, they weren't too expensive and the taste/vapor was pretty good. I quickly graduated to carto tanks and I found that if I punched my own cartos and did so based on the juice I was using in the tank I could great life and vapor/flavor production from cartos.

Last week I got some 1.8ohm attys and an Empire Mods drip shield. Bought them on an impulse. Been using them exclusively for about 5 days. The flavor and vapor are slightly better than the Boge cartos I was using (and a lot better than other cartos, Boge FTW). However I have found I am using probably 20-30% less juice and my first atty is still hitting like day 1, five days later. While my Boge cartos last quite a while in tanks (as long as 3-4 weeks sometimes) they gradually go down in flavor/vapor over that time, however so far the atty has stayed consistent.

I still use my carto tanks when I leave the house for an extended period of time. However, when I'm working from home or watching a movie, it's dripping for me. It's really not inconvenient. If you're making an effort to keep a mod nearby it's not much more work to keep some juice there too.

I also found that using a carto tank at home that I was vaping too much (IMO). It was just too easy. With the atty I can regulate my vaping much more (which I like).

Aesthetics: I also love the look of a stainless Empire mods drip shield and drip tip on my Provari compared to a tank.

I've got a couple of HH 357 long barrels on order (I like a cooler vape) and I look forward to seeing what a "premium" atty can do.

I love dripping. My first PV is a Riva 510 SE manual. My experience with cartos has almost exclusively been with Boge 510 LRs which I think are good. Recently my vaping mentor gave me (that's right GAVE) an Echo 808 threaded chrome auto with several replacement batteries, a 510 adapater, a charger, and two Echo Cartomizers. I can't believe the difference in the Echo cartos! They hold more e-liquid, deliver more vapor, and more flavor than any other Cart I've tried including my standby Boges. Anyone else with a similar experience?

A bottom feeder is dripping, just from the bottom of the atty instead of the top.

Sorry tj for the later reply.. yup is from the bottom feed rather the top.. concept still same but less hassle taking ang toping out always.. all you need to do is squeeze..squeeze..squeeze

Check it out at 310vapers.com

I *hated* dripping. I tried on 510 and 306. 306 was better but just barely. Never knew if it was flooded or not, it was around a 40% success rate. So I put up with the crappy 510 carts and dripping until tanks came out. The tanks muted the flavor slightly and were a little tricky at first but I figured them out and stuck with them until the vision clearos, which I think are the best things to use right now.

The only time i drip is testing flavors . What i really dont get is how people can use Ce2/ce3 type cartos. They have always been horrible in every aspect to me. A boge carto gives me the best and most consistant vape and its no fuss ,just fill and go .In a tank it will last all day, then just fill and go again. I personally always got better flavor in boges then attys too and iv tried most attys (hh357's,cisco 306's,hybrids,dualcoils)Heat is a big pain in the .... using attys . 3-4 consecutive pulls and its so hot it starts reducing flavor .
