Why are we so different to Europe?

A well built muscle car can handle just as well as anything else. Wheel base and good suspension parts go a long way. ;)

Well I have a 1965 Impala SS 327 and I hate do this but I gotta call your bluff here. Unless we're talking about major chassis stiffening, a subtantial drop, anti sway bars the size of a telephone pole and a few hundred pounds of shed weight......

The problem with modern cars is they don't smell like exhaust and gasoline when you drive them and they don't rumble like an unbalanced washing machine at a stop light. I need to feel that the car is either alive or about to blow up any second to feel any excitement driving it.

The idea that America is this Selfish, selfabsorbed Nation Is GARBAGE! The prejudice voiced about the US is from ENVY for what this Nation has Managed to accomplish.

I guess I am reading the thread differently than you are. I don't see a lot of prejudice about the US, just voiced differences and we are different from just about any other country. On one hand, we are a selfish, self absorbed nation. You want proof? Personal storage facilities for our extra, unused stuff. It's no secret we have them yet when many foreigners see we have them, they are utterly boogled by what can only be described as our truly wasteful excess. Rather than give most of this crap away, we PAY to keep it in a garage!

On the other hand, the contrast of that is the US is also the most generous nation on the planet according to the global index of giving. And that's just on a personal level of it's citizens! An American is more likely to help you if you need it than any other nationality. As a nation, we'll bomb you if you piss us off and then when we're done leveling you with our amazingly creative engineering (seriously, other countries are just "hoping" to get a shot at one of our guys while we launch surgical strikes from half a globe away. Put down your sticks boys and go back to herding goats, you are out smarted and out gunned), we'll help feed your people and help rebuild your nation! In the words of Christopher Titus "don't mess with a nation that needs medication!"

Living here for several years with a wife from here , I can only say that the ideas are differant . Everyone wants stuff but here space cost and as you learn what you want may not be what you need . Does a ego battery with a simple ce4/5 get you a vape that you like ....maybe yes . Does more mean better ? Not realy . Just because you can doesnt mean you should . Would it be nice to have a McHouse with 3000 sg ft. ...........on a two acre plot of land ? Well yes . But why ? Why would a 70 m2 house be what you need with plenty of useing space be just as good ? Kind of the way of thinking . Use what you feel good about . I use a simple set up that works well and is reliable , easy to cary , built like a tank , and i'm happy with it . What you like will be differant , so why should it be this or that ,we are all part of this community and we like what we do . Live and let live like they use to say . :)

If you look at my signature all my mods except 1 are european made. Atmomixani and GG provide me will all the options i need at a fair price.

I prefer a "tight" draw, like .8mm-3mm. I personally hate vaping wide wide open because the flavor there is absolutely pathetic IMO. I vape for the whole experience -vapor flavor throat hit. No just massive clouds.

Ive done .2 builds an found them very unpleasant to say the least. This is why i cant buy most products from US vendors as they literally are only for cloud chasers. I agree with Europeans on more issues than just simply vaping. I love their moderate approach to life, the time they take away from work each year to unwind (4-8 weeks paid, depending) and their overall more reasonable approach to living as humans.

Lol i generally despise us americans for our ignorant and pointless lives. Work 9-6 watch tv marry grow old and die never finding real happiness. Chase the latest fad, follow the "leader", dont think for yourself an god forbid...dont question authority! Its all BS

Also i think its pretty bogus wen vapers look down upon other vapers for

A) not having a $400 setup
B) not wanting to blow fat clouds and build coils

If you cloudchasers would realizethat 95% of vapers dont use forums or rebuild, wed all be better off. Its just a fact. My aunt and uncle quit 40+ year smoking habits at 2PAD by using a simple flat 3.7 volt ego and CE4 clearos.

I love german cars over any other but that new corvette could compete easily with a porsche. Great car

I would also put a well tuned saleen against the Porsche on a road course.
This brings to mind the Ford GT.....produced to prove us Americans can do it just as good as you guys over the pond... And dominated the Lemans' for awhile.

I quit with a simple cig-a-like.

I think part of it is just the American mindset of pushing into the next frontier. That is why the same country that brings you cloud chasers is bringing you the DNA 40 chip with temperature control and a boat load of other safety features. When Americans get hooked on something we always strive to do it bigger and better. We developed the Ford GT and Viper Lemans cars to prove we could do high tech racing bigger and better. We pioneer things for the simple pleasure of excess and then turn around and innovative the same things to make them better. We conquered cloud chasing and now we're developing the means to actually make vaping safer by avoiding things like chemicals from over heated juice and fumes from charred wicks.

I do wish more of the APV/RDA/RBA crowd would realize that not everybody wants to rebuild coils or deconstruct their tank every time they want to change flavors. Some people do want reliability, consistency, ease of use, and flavor more than they want a new habit/dependency. I rewick coils to save money. I keep avoiding the RBA tanks because I don't want to spend the extra time on it. I can pull apart my Mini PT3 and have a fresh wick/flavor combo in less than five minutes. Then my little Evod or MVP 2.0 reliably and consistently pumps out flavor without breaking the bank or wasting time.

We all need to realize that vaping is a niche. Anytime you develop a niche market there will be people pushing the extremes. That doesn't mean they represent the majority or that they should dictate the market.

As a Norwegian, I find this thread amusing.

There is no European culture. There are a whole lot of different cultures in Europe, tho. Not like in the US, where all the mixed cultures IS the American culture.
Not so. We have MANY cultures here.

The coastal metropolis cultures on the West Coast are different from...
The coastal metropolis cultures on the East Coast, which are different from...
The Deep South cultures, which are different from...
The Midwest cultures, which are different from...
The Great Plains cultures, which are different from...
The desert region cultures, which are different from...
The frozen north cultures, which are different from...
The Hawaiian Island cultures, which are different from...
The Alaskan cultures, which are different from...
The various American Indian cultures, which are different from...
Florida.

And in many of those regions, there are multiple subcultures.

For instance, you have the older retirees in many regions of Florida.
And you have Miami, which is basically Latin at this point.

In Alaska you have the rugged individualists...
And you have the Native Peoples...

I could go on and on and on about dozens and dozens of different subcultures across this nation.
And even the various subcultures found in the city of Los Angeles alone.

This is one big melting pot, but it doesn't always melt.
:)

I was part of the Marine Corps subculture for many years. A true melting pot of the different American subcultures. When we traveled anywhere overseas, we realized the differences between Americans from different backgrounds and locations isn't as drastic as most think. Non Americans criticizing something they aren't a part of nor understand is what I find amusing. We'll keep pushing, you keep watching. ;)

Maybe so, but if you go to the Deep South they will say "Bless your heart" whereas...
In New Jersey they will get right up in your face.
