Did you have the original Squape, or the Squape Reloaded?
I can think of several things I didn't like about the original Squape. Every single one of them was corrected with the Reloaded though. Airflow adjustment was greatly improved with the clicking ball bearing and ring, the swappable decks were a HUGE improvement that made it far more flexible in different build styles and preferences, the tank was changed from the polycarbonate plastic to glass, you could get the taller standard drip tip or a shorter wide bore drip tip, increased tank capacity, optional mini 3ml tank if you want to make it shorter, optional bell cap tank if you want an entirely clear tank, the Reloaded is like an entirely different RTA from the original Squape.
For me the swappable decks was a real game changer and I cannot believe no one else has copied it. It means the same RTA can be built using radically different coil and wick setups which is impossible on pretty much every other RTA/RDA on the market. For example, there are many RBAs that can use single or dual coils, but only the Squape R has the option of a single air hole and single set of juice channels for the single coil and two air holes and two sets of juice channels for the dual coil. That makes a HUGE difference, especially when it comes to feeding juice to a dual coil build on an RBA that isn't specifically built for dual coils. Or having the W (wide) deck for high to 100% VG juices. Don't try that in your standard Kayfun.
And wicking on all of them is just SO easy. Simply trim the wick flush with the edge of the deck and gently fluff them down into the juice channel (Except the B deck which you fill with wicking material like any RDA). Perfect wicking every single time.
B deck for dripping style...
S deck for standard microcoils and C deck for standard microcoils with a flavor wick...
W deck for high VG juices, subohm builds, and large cotton wicks...
And the D deck for dual coils...
It only takes about a minute to swap from one deck to another. Just remove the screws and pull the old deck straight out, snap the new deck back in, and put the screws back on it. There really isn't another RTA like it.
