Why can't e-cigs get these results??

I was floored to read today that California has enacted a new law that bans restaurants from cooking with trans fats!! Are they friggin' kidding me? The state the world is in and people are spending time, money and resourses to ban a certain cooking oil? I swear, next it's going to be fat people that get banned from restaurants or passing a law that fat people can only order healthy, low-cal meals.

So why can't e-cig supporters do something like this? How much does it really take to get a law passed? This web site here, that claims victory for the law, says something like "1 million visitors to this site...". That's chump change if every person here would promote a web site dedicated to NOT banning e-cigs and educating our government.
