My awesome 'lil predator.

She smacked her mouse toy about 20 feet away in one swift swipe there.

She can catch it or hit it in midair too, sometimes it's like playing kitty racquetball.
I toss the mouse up and she whacks it back at me, then rinse repeat. =)

Honestly I encounter very little negativity in real life...but I will say this board is the most friendly, helpful and most upbeat of any I've ever visited.

Yeppers. She even volunteers for belly rubs...just flops down with a thump and stares at me until I acquiesce.

She's trippy though...she doesn't purr out loud. She kneads her paws, wriggles around and taps her tail like a drum, but no purr. Well, so I thought anyways. One day, I was leaning over close while rubbing her tummy and heard a very faint rumble, so I pulled a human stethoscope move and laid my ear right against her flank. Sure enough, there was a purr...but it's like inside of her and not the usual throat purr...whaaat?

Rarely, she does purr out loud now, but it sounds like a raspy old truck idling.

My friend's cat hisses when she is happy. It's so hilarious.

Where in California? I lived in Santa Cruz for several years...wish I could afford to move back. I've grown to like Michigan, though.
BTW, I met Keekers at a small vapemeet in Lansing last month. She's very nice, and really pretty!

Sometimes I feel that same way about friends and I haven't even moved. As we age and go through various stages of life friends come and go. It seems that the older I get that harder it is to meet new people with common interests. Probably because there is less free time and not in the situations to meet lots of people much anymore.

I've heard it said that as people age (I'm 50 btw) people either grow more closed minded and opinionated or they grow more easy going and open-minded. Unfortunately I find most people go to the 1st choice whereas I have gone the other route.

Heh, my birth dad was a Pathologist and Coroner, birth Mom was a RN. Adopted dad and sis both work at a blood bank now.
