It was only $18, but when I got home from shopping and after carrying all the bags up 3 flights, then putting away the $100+ in groceries I noticed something; it wasn't on the receipt! I'm like whaaaat?? See, my uncle drives me to the Wal-Mart at like 3AM for my monthly shopping so it's empty and easy to deal with with no screaming brats, trailer park girls or methheads. Plus he hates traffic. :D

So, when I finally checked out, there was NOBODY ELSE, not a soul for about a block in either direction. The guy and I chatted while checking out, I saw him scan the box and put it in a bag. No idea why I wasn't charged. But I'm calling it karma for the $12 I was ripped off at Safeway last week.

No, I don't feel bad about it. I was the only person there in a store the size of an aircraft hanger and he was hardly rushing. Either it was a tech malfunction, or he just screwed up.

I just figure it's a karma bonus...not like I'd fret over Wal-Mart's profits very much anyways. ;)

It is an especially warm and friendly forum, which is refreshing to see, but I generally find people I encounter in real life to be incredible. On the rare occasion I have experienced a person being unpleasant or thoughtless it is also obvious that something is bothering them acutely.

I have heard many stories about the cruelty or indifference of some people to their fellow humans, but have virtually no first hand experience of that. I have been helped and rescued by total strangers many times, even when it was not especially apparent that I was having a problem.

Tackle boxes are a necessity when it comes to organizing.

Cute pictures of all the cats.

As far as DIY goes, it can be dangerous if people do not take precautionary measures. I DIY because I save money. There is a great thread started by Nikhill regarding everything DIY: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/74109-guide-diy-flavoring.html

Glad to see everyone is doing well. Priorities I hope everything has worked itself out with your fam!

Have a great day
xoxo

I must have jinxed myself. I have ran into really rude people lately on the forums. They are the reason people decide to switch forums. I don't understand why people have to be jerks.

That sucks! What happened? You're right about the tackle boxes (nice kit caffeinator) - I have two (one for my normal supplies / one for DIY basics) and would be lost without em. Will try and get pics up in a bit.

Off topic, killer ink Keekers, but didn't that hurt like hell to get?

Post pics! I love seeing how people organize their supply.

This one person told me to get some common sense and another person sarcastically said I might have aids because I was talking about a rash I've been having. I don't think it's vaping related anymore but the docs can't figure it out.

It's not my ink but I wish it was! Someday when I have enough money I will probably get it done :)

Well, that is .......-ish of them. If it isn't vape related, I'm assuming you and the doc talked about soaps and whatnot? I discovered the hard way that I cannot use Tide to clean my clothes, and hotel soap (no matter where in the world I am) breaks me out bad.

Keekers, I sent ya a PM...hopefully will be a laff for ya...get your mind off stuff ya know? ;)

Share with the rest of the class! :p

Ok, here is my setup as it stands.

2012-07-02_13-00-56_49.jpg

This is my other desk. The drawers on the left hold mixing hardware (beakers, syringes, blunt tips, flasks, bottles, rubber gloves, etc. etc.). The twine I use for extractions, and the mini plastic boxes (in the tackle box and next to the twine) are used to hold 5-10ml bottles of DIY mixes that need to steep out of the light. I got all of the setup at Goodwill or the dollar store.

(A closeup of the DIY kit)

2012-07-02_13-01-33_89.jpg

This is the main tackle box. It was originally a toolkit for an electrical engineering class. Now I use it to store all the basics. Tri-level, I can hold bottles and batteries, and misc other items as needed. The mason jars are for extracts, and the USPS boxes are due to the fact that most of my restock is arriving today and tomorrow. Behind this tackle box is a second one that is only for DIY.

2012-07-02_13-02-01_374.jpg

This is the top part of it. The bottom left corner are pre-made bottles of 18mg juice (30% PG) that are just waiting to have flavor added. The rest are bottles of flavors, labels, and a note pad / index cards for mixing notes.

2012-07-02_13-02-19_771.jpg

Under the top part of the DIY box, are the mixers. VG, PG, Sour/Tart mix, AAA Magic Mask, and dropper bottles of flavor and glass vials of flavor held in place with seat cushion foam.

It isn't much, but the setup works for me. The desk area is sort of a clean room for mixing, and I tend to clean everything down once a week even if I didn't use it. I have access to an autoclave too for the bottles and other tools, so I use that as well for cleaning.
