Somewhere out there
Dekang is high PG. In my experience, Dekang is always improved by adding at least a third more VG. That will decrease throat hit and weaken any artificial taste as well as sweeten them up a bit. Once you learn how much VG is required for your liking, then buy the nic level with this weakening in mind. For right now, with what you already have, it would be better to weaken the nic strength than to go back to smokes. Also, don't vape them above 3.7 volts. In my experience, again, if you do you might get that celery or diesel fuel, nose burning, thing happen. Evidently, higher heat is required to bring that out. You can actually save yourself some money this way. For instance, I vape 12 mg and like around 35 to 50% VG so I buy 24mg Dekang and mix in an equal part of VG so that cuts my Dekang juice expense in half to be spent on the more expensive one I like.

Edit: If you step over to the DIY section and study, you will find that there are many ways to change the taste of a juice without taking any drastic steps like trying to mask a flavor by adding another. Juice is not like cooking. Very small molecular changes can create a totally different taste. That's why mixers make the bucks they do. For instance, you may not like menthol at all but adding a single drop of menthol (or mint) to a juice will boost or dimish another flavor making a completely new tasting juice with no menthol taste to it at all. Hope that helps.

Patkin saved me a bit of typing up there. Pick up some plain USP glycerine from CVS or Walmart and mix it into the dekang. Experiment with a small part of the dekang transferred into another bottle to start with, until you find the right ratio.

Well I'm not slamming them at all. I'm simply stating that the liquid I have from them is nothing like the many liquids I've tasted prior to now. And is not my taste. I posted this thread to get help on my currant problem so if u don't have anything helpful to say maybe you shouldn't have replied to my thread wv2win. People like you are the reason I dont come to this site when I need help. Now maybe u should go to another thread where u could actually help someone.

If you had titled your thread: "I need help with some eliquid" instead of implying in the title that we all must be "WARNED" about DeKang eliquid, I would not have pointed out the poor choice of your thread title.

There are enough false and misleading thread titles about vaping in general without you adding to it with a fake "warning" about one of the largest manufacturers of eliquid. How about attempting to use some common sense in titling your posts in the future and I won't point out how idiotic the title is.

Dekang is made in 100% PG, 100% VG, and 80/20 PG/VG mixtures. I'd be willing to bet some of the larger distributors might have even more options. Curious if yours is 100% PG by the way you're describing it. The 80/20 has suited me well. Or may it is counterfeit? Does your bottle say YNDK around the rim of the cap. If not that would be a sure sign. In my experience steeping has not been necessary, but I do make sure to shake the bottle up before each use. What are the flavors you are having a bad experience with?

Really? Anyone here gotten counterfeit DeKang from FastTech? Anyone? Anyone?
Why would they bother? They sell the real stuff for $0.18/ml...

OP - WHAT flavors did you get? That may help people provide ideas to modify the flavor.
The only one I've had was the Dekang Turkish. And it was good enough that I ordered a 50 ml. bottle the next time.
(It's a real mild, light tobacco juice)

Really, I've used Dekang for 4 years, I can't count the times I've gotten counterfeit liquid, if you don't stick to a reputable source, you have no idea what your getting.

No offense - and I was responding to someone else, actually!!
You just told him to check...:)

Sorry. I missed the part that he got it from a reputable source. NOT wanting to accuse anyone of anything! I'm guessing what you are calling Turkish is what is called "T-blend" now. Turkish blends have always been my favorite tobacco flavors. Hangsen has a good one too. Anyway... sorry if I offended!

Never ordered from FastTech and never will, over the last 4 years I've been burned by a couple of sites like FT. But feel free, they're cheap, you get what you pay for, and with ecigs that's truer than most things. And most people don't have the experience to know if it's any good, but you noobs keep telling yourselves whatever you want.

how can ANYBODY help you with a problem that is based on your own subjective taste? people like you are the reason I should give up reading e-liquid threads about what is good and what isn't. customer service, sure. fast shipping, sure. but taste, everyone is on their own.....

I agree! I'm an experienced vapor and usually buy premium juice from premium vendors, but I ALWAYS keep a bottle of DK-Tab in my cabinet- no other juice in the world gives me what Tab does.

I'm not going to engage in any he says / she says BS about Chinese quality (it's been discussed/argued ad-nauseum), but I would suggest before you start posting "warnings" around here, you do some research!

Lot's of people use ECF as a source of info to keep us safe, in an otherwise unregulated market... Feel free to post your opinions, but please steer clear of posting your opinions as "facts", or in this case- as warnings -R

EDIT: As was already discussed, I only buy my liquids from reputable sources; vendors who understand the importance of "chain of custody". You will put yourself at some degree of risk if you buy from importers who can't even spell/describe the products they're importing/reselling

All over the place
Dekang is fine. Fine doesn't mean it will be tasty to all though. Honestly, out of the 700+ liquids I've tried, I could warn you about something from every one of those vendors that made the liquids. The only real warning that no one can argue with is: be careful when buying liquids--the description is made to sale the liquid. What will taste good to you will always be hit or miss. No one vendor is above making a nasty liquid and any vendor is capable of making some tasty liquids. Large or small, Chinese or American (and all points in between), eliquid will always be a crap shoot. Some vendors may have better odds with nastiness or tastiness, but as to which is which, only you can make the call by trying them out.

So I'm going through one of those high bills, low income moments that most face at one moment or another and I ran clean out of e liquid and cartos so I headed over to fasttect and bought my first RDA (phenoix V5) and three bottles of dekang juice. Other than the extra airy drag from the RDA I'm loving it. My problem comes in with these super artificial tasting, harsh throat hit just all around sucky juices. Is there anyway I can improve the quality of these juices for little to no money. Would adding vanilla extract help any. I could use any idea at all cause I really really want to stay away from the stinkies! Thanks ECF family in advance!

As many others have said, add some VG.
If money is a continuing issue you may want to start making your own liquid. You'll know exactly what's in it and you'll save a lot of money in the long run.

So you feel you know more about it, having never ordered from them?
There are ten thousand people on this forum who have ordered from them.
And yes, they got what they paid for. What more do you want?

Occasionally someone DOESN'T READ the product description, or ignores it, or ASSUMES that a product is a different product, will have a bad experience and blame the vendor. You're blaming a vendor for something you didn't like about a DIFFERENT vendor . So I feel someone should defend them here since they are not allowed.

They sell cheap copies of stuff - a lot of people want that, and should know that quality will likely be inferior. But a lot of people are satisfied with that quality (ie: FastTech EVOD knockoffs are quite popular).
They ALSO sell legitimate, branded merchandise, at better prices than anyone else, with free shipping, and with a better warranty and return policy than whoever you're buying from.
You have to know that a term like "EGO" is not a brand names - and you'll be fine. If they call it a "Kanger" it will be the real Kanger device. Or Innokin. Or Dekang.

I am not "telling myself whatever I want". I am speaking from experience, and providing a helpful response to someone who asked.
