Fishee, some threads are like this. They have a life all their own and no one knows why they refuse to die, or why they are occasionally resurrected just when you thought it was gone for good. Sometimes I wish there was a ignore feature for threads, LOL, but I would probably still read them just to see the latest silliness

An ignore feature would be nice. From the very day of its conception I have disliked this thread. It rubbed me the wrong way from the very start. That's not to ay that there isn't beneficial posts here. And as always I can get several good laughs but dang it man, I really dislike this thread. So I figure since it keeps popping up I may as well be a participant in the monotony.

They buy the cheap junk, cause they dont think it junk, no they dont, they think it good stuff, yes it does werk that way,,,

because how many peeple goes to the store and says here is some junk, i wanna pay lots of money for it, (huh how many??? none that who) cause if they did that wood be what you call a poor man wit lots of junk, I know I know, it seems simple, and really is, its that simple.

but we alls buy junk sometime its just we dont mean to does it. you know the black bear he rumble through the junk yard like its a dinner of a high class kind, yes he does.

so be good to yourself and if you bought some junk, just say HEY i bought this dang junk, and tries not to do it again, yeah you gots get yourself a bargain but be careful of the junk

PS I dont like my Kayfun lite clone, I like the 3.1 much better. Maybe i gots a bad kayfun lite clone, its a leaker, I think I would rather buy a bearded monkey than the lite clone again....

You don't need a Ferrari to get to work and you don't need a Provari to quit smoking.

Absolutely true.

Although I don't see a ProVari as a Ferrari. I see it as an F150. It is designed to do what it does and does so very well and is built to last.

However, owning one or not owning one does not make you a better or worse vaper.

I now own a ProVari....Love it.
I also own two MVP 2's. Love them.

If I lost my ProVari, I would be sad, it is an "affordable" luxury for me, that luxury being the quality build and overall performance of the unit. It's not required, but it's nice to have.

If I lost any of my MVP 2's, I would replace it immediately. For me, the MVP2 is essential vape gear....along with a Kayfun styled RBA. Can't go back to "normal" clearomizers anymore. They just don't provide the flavor the Kayfun provides.

Regardless of your situation, whatever keeps you off of cigarettes is good enough.

Enjoy what you have. If you are purchasing things for other peoples approval, then you have it all wrong. The only person you need to impress is yourself.

Way to make fun of me. Very funny! All i need to know is that people with provari seem to think they don't stink. Call what i but junk if you want but not everyone can afford a 200+ dollar mod. I hope you all feel superior to everyone as you vape on that device. Have fun with it, you give vaping a bad name. Would be the same as talking bad about someone that buys Pall Mall and not Marlboro. Typical snobs.

The bit about the clearos leaking was in response to the OP saying something along the lines of "If you buy something that isn't a provari, don't complain when your clearos leak and you get dry hits." One has nothing to do with the other.

I never said anything even remotely close to along the lines of that.

WHAT? What do you mean you didn't say that? I'm sure I read where you said specifically that if people didn't spend $500 or more on their vape gear they are using junk. Are you denying that claim because I'm sure I can find exactly where you said that? ....maybe.....hm.....ok never mind (lol - jk in case it's not clear).

just to put my :2c: in... just because lol... I'm fairly new to vaping (about a month and a half in) and I have definitely bought a lot of cheap 'junk'... but when I think about it, it hasn't been CHEAP and it hasn't been JUNK. I still use my old V2 battery & cartos (along side my 2 Sigelei's which are FAR from JUNK) from time to time, and my ego batteries and my itaste VV V3 (also not junk) and my ksmart. I bought 2 protank mini 2's because everyone said they were great and guess what, I can't even use them (just sold them actually), but not because they were junk, but because I kept getting dry hits, it just so happens that carto tanks are better FOR ME, I still hear about TONS of people who love their protanks.

I didn't switch because of money, I switched because of my health and my kids. I could have gotten a Provari at any time and I choose not to, I don't want one (and sorry, but I don't understand why people who own them are so unkind to people who don't!). I may not get a lifetime of use out of my Sigelei's, but they've both already paid for themselves. I took SMALL babysteps up to my mods and I truly believe if I would have jumped to them too soon, I wouldn't be vaping still. I had a VV/VW device too soon and ended up taking it back because it was way more than I needed at the time.

None of that even matters, what matters is how inappropriate it is to judge people who don't do as you do! Everyone is unique and have their own personal way of doing things and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I do not regret one thing I've bought, it's about the journey, not the destination!

they're not. In fact if you were to go to the Provari subforum (I have no idea where that is now with the reorganization) you will find that many of the contributors there are some of the more helpful contributors throughout the forum.

Provari owners are not a single entity,,,,,,

there may be some who are unkind,,,,,,,,just as there are some ego owners who are unkind,,,,,,,

have you ever been to the Provari sub forum? You should stop by some time and meet us :) We really don't care if you use a Provari or a Z-max or an Ego, as long as it works for you,,,,,

I never said anything even remotely close to along the lines of that.

I can see picking up something cheap to see if ecigs will work for you, but once you know they will...

Why keep buying cheap ... junk???

You could afford to smoke, but you can't afford a quality mod?

I smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day, so my ProVari paid for itself in 10 days.

COME ON PEOPLE!!!

Take a crowbar and pry a little bit of money out of your wallet and get yourself a decent mod.

And another thing...

Quit complaining about the cheap ... thing you just bought that leaks, or breaks, or gives you dry hits.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

Just ranting... I feel better now...:)

That may not be what you meant, but it's how it reads.

Maybe take a little more care in how you word your posts.

People buy what they can afford, and there are enough of us buying and using all of this "junk" that someone thought it might be a good idea to create a forum, where people could share information about it. I've seen posts of people buying a cheap rip off design, and having it work great, I've actually made a few of those posts.

There are also quite a few posts of people buying something that costs anywhere from $5-$300 and it not performing how they expected, but that's why we come here. To see if anyone else has had these issues and knows how to fix them.

Yea, I'll admit I should have been a little more specific... sorry! I'm still new-ish and I have had WONDERFUL experiences with SO MANY people here, but I've just had a few bad experiences with people and they just so happen to own Provaris.. I am in NO WAY saying that I think EVERYONE who owns one is mean or unkind. Sorry about that! One person said I was all but an idiot because I couldn't calculate resistance and volts when I said I didn't understand, for the price, why Provari doesn't have VW. I'll be honest, I still don't know how to do all that so maybe I am stupid, but at a month and a half in, I didn't realize that was a requirement!

It's honestly as simple as that people don't get the concept of "you get what you pay for."

If you believe that then I have a $200 cig-a-like I can sell you from my vape kiosk, it's a good as a Provari.

Is a $20 FastTech Kayfun clone not as good as the same one sold for $60 on eBay?
