I did unsubscribe from this thread, but the darn thing keep appearing in the new posts so I'm back...........

it's called human nature. you just called some of us immature.... oops, name calling!

I haven't said anything you can say was calling names, so I wish you would only put that complaint in response to people you think are name calling. someone not reading the entire thread will think *I* was calling names and I don't appreciate your implying that. and really, hipster, trendy are not really name calling. we are not allowed to do what *I* call name calling on this forum :) I'm an old hippie <shrug>.....so what

are you a psychologist? if not, I think you are name calling by calling some of us frustrated!

I don't have to understand things the way you do, even if you are shouting at us. no one is saying non smokers CAN'T vape. they (we) are saying in our opinion they shouldn't. since some of you think we (USA) still have freedom, we are free to have an opinion.

I'm old and I can tell you that we (USA) do not have freedom to make decisions as we please. if we did, smokers would not be being persecuted..........

just for the record, smoking doesn't usually kill you quickly, it takes a long time. otherwise we would not have people who smoked for 40 years here vaping. you are young so I doubt you were going to die soon..............just to be accurate

oh lord, you think 15 year olds are young adults??

I wish you would get over the name calling thing - if real name calling had been going on the mods would delete the post.

are there people on the forum running around harrassing vapers who didn't smoke?

you may be an adult but your words above are exactly what will entice minors to try it. minors just love to be cool and have "yummy" stuff

why are you telling us to get back on track ? and nobody is stopping anyone from trying to be "cool". opinion was asked for and we are giving it.

I don't know, I am pretty sure I have seen you use immature, frustrated, rude. I think I'm offended

The difference between what I said and what others said it night and day. I was referring to the act of takeing out frustrations of others as immature. I didn't CALL anyone immature. See The fact of the matter is separating into groups and calling people names is an immature act. I didn't type to someone and say YOU are "immature". There is a huge difference. One is meant to belittle and one is meant to teach.

I was raised by hippys. :) I love my parents. They vape too.

Adults refer to a lot of things as yummy. I am going to go with the Great late George Carlin here and say F the children. It is not meant for them. Sure there is always a fine line of putting warnings and all that stuff. But no matter what you do kids will want to try adult things no matter if it is cool yummy or whatever. Because that is what they do and how they learn. They mimic adults. It doesn't mean adults should suffer and not be happy and exited to do something that is age appropriate for them. I am sick of people useing this as an argument. Rasie you kids right. Teach them what is age appropriate and if they really respect you as I did my parents they will listen... and make their own decisions when they are young adults.

And by the way I did go through many psychology classes and have many books. I could probably test out for all the schooling that I have had. So Don't assume. It is offensive.

I only ever was civil... why you want to attack me is beyond me.

Yes teenagers are young adults. They will start to do more things that are considered adult. It is time we start treating them with respect and understanding that this is a very hard transitional time for them. They need guidance and understanding at that age. And I don't think anyone is "ready" for sex at 15 but 15 year olds have sex anyway. And if they do they should be able to get condoms. otherwise they will be stuck with much bigger mistakes.

Isn't it part of our freedom of choic, as adults, to choose what we put and do to our bodies? My dad started smoking cigars later in his life to try different flavors and types. We also enjoy drinking different types of wines and beers. Is this any different than someone trying vaping for the first time? I think vaping is even more fun because of all the different vendors/ e-cigs, flavors and equipment. We are all adults and I think if people want to experience vaping during thier lifetime then they should very well do so. I think experiences both good and bad shape us into what we are throughout our lives.
