Something you miight want to look into is WTA (whole tobacco alkaloids) aroma ejuice and vapelicious both sell it.. it has that "something" that some people miss. check it out.

I'm a month into vaping....and having so much difficulty that I'm seriously thinking of giving up. I have a good PV.....an eGo T and using fluxomizers. No trouble, no hassle with it, easy to use.

I've tried many flavors (my son shares as he is a very successful vaper). I did I have some issues with PG and I've been vaping straight VG. I really don't like artificial flavors so I've been pretty much sticking to a DIY of VG, nic (have tried varying strengths), menthol crystals, spearmint, a touch of wintergreen (yes, I really like menthol).

As the song says I just can't get no satisfaction (vaping in it's self does not cut the analog craving for me)....it makes me cough worse than analogs ever did (yes, I've tried not vaping and smoking analogs and as soon as I start vaping again I start coughing again, within the first few vapes)). I've been fortunate that I have such great support here at home.

I'm frustrated and yes, angry at myself that I can't seem to "get it". I went into it with such conviction and hope. Any other people fail at vaping?

Psychology plays a big part in the 'addiction' of smoking. And when it comes to switching, the idea that one is sacrifcing something (rather than gaining something) can be hard to overcome, especially if the first day(s) of vaping have difficulties (no spares, wrong juice, technical problems, etc). That said, it is quite possible to have a perfect vaping setup, know that vaping tastes much better, know it's healthier and doesn't risk a fire, leave bad smells etc etc and yet still know that something isn't right; not everyone but some people - there's just something biochemically out of balance and not everyone can just tough it out for a few months.

In the absence of a WTA option, such people, i suggest, need to take a long view; cutting down slowly over quite a long period; and try different vaping regimes as assistance (with or without nicotine). Or try snus.

Just a note - by the end of the first month (or sooner) most people get antsy and buy one or more other ecigs to try. I bought two. I think besides giving people other vaping experiences/flavors/drags/heat, it also tosses some excitement in there and helps people figure out what they really like.

So even if you don't click with your current equipment - don't give up. It is definitely not a fail to buy something else to try. And it doesn't have to be all new equipment - could be some different kind of attachment or manual batteries instead of auto. Try stuff and find what you like.

And some things I did to feel comfortable
- first 2 weeks I carried my cigs in the wrong pocket "just in case". Then I moved the cigs and lighter to a plastic bag in the car trunk.
- bought spares & extra chargers for at home, and a charger for at work
- I actually started carrying 2 different ecigs - backup
- spare charged battery so I could set everything else up to charge late evening (but NOT right before bed) and then I have the overnight ecig available for late night, for if I woke up, and ready as soon as I got up in the morning
- cartomizers - no more fighting with an atomizer hallelujah (I was ready to kill an atomizer one morning - 20 freakin minutes trying to get a good drag - screw that - cartos just work).

Those all helped get rid of any stress associated with ecigs and switching to them

Somewhere out there
I so agree Dormouse, we have to find things that keep it exciting. I have gone thru all sorts of phases just in last 2 mo. Tried ecigs 2 years ago, gave up on poor quality equipment back then. Came back to vaping just to "see" what those 2 part carto thingies were all about. Loved it! So I am back to vaping full time and no more analogs. Now DIY is my fun play time make the best juice ever quest. Always something fun to try. bnrk

I think I may need to switch equipment. I wanted to start low-cost, so I got a smoketip kit on sale for 39 bucks. I went with them for the lifetime warranty on the batteries, but I think I shouldve went with a company that offered manuals. If I could control the release and get a harder hit, I think I wouldnt have such an intense craving for analogs still.

I am pleased to say Ive had only 5 analogs yeasterday and 3 today....but am craving one as we speak. Thats much better than my pack and a half habit I did have. Anyone have a suggestion on a good place to get an affordable manual battery? The long drags for not hard enough hit are not satisfying me fully lol
