Why do Vapers think they don't stink?

I got the Mesquite tobacco from DIY Flavor Shack in one of the Flavor-Of-The-Month deals. If you contact Dawn there, I think she'd mix you up a batch - I don't think it's a regular flavor for sale.

It tastes great after eating a burger :)

Goodness, that sounds so awful... Of course, I do things like putting Vodka into Coca Cola, and most people tell me it makes them sick just thinking of it. Heh!

Yeah cuz smelling like propane is such a turn on to men huh?

well...not propane, but if you dip part of your clothing in methanol I might not be able to resist. ^_^ God I love the smell of dragsters/remote control vehicles...

I've noticed that the smell does exist, but never stays in my hair (long hair) and never seems to add any scent to my room or my car once I set down my ecig. The only time the scent lingers at all is if I use a LOT of cinnamon flavoring in my juice.

I had my first social vape yesterday, having coffee with a friend. I felt a little awkward about it at first... Still do, actually. Which is weird, because I never felt awkward about having a cig in front of someone.

But at any rate, she said she coudn't smell much of anything. I was vaping 18mg Lucky Strike juice.

And I'm starting to notice the stale cigarette smell in here... yeah, I smoked inside, and so does my dad. It's... awful.

But I don't catch much of anything when I walk into my room, even though I vape in here all the time.

My room smells like a bakery... sometimes when mixing if I get some flavoring on me, I do too. I don't classify that as a "stink" so that's why I don't think I stink. People who vape strong clove do kind of smell bad to me, though.

I play guitar and sing in bands and have shared microphones with many people. After I started vaping I couldn't believe how bad my mics smelled. Honestly I had no idea. Now I keep about ten breath guards with me so I can switch them out after anyone who smokes gets to sing.

Sorry my brothers and sisters I had no idea how funky I smelled.

Vaping has nothing on smoking when it comes to the stink factor.

I don't think vapers stink, we will have a smell, but so does everyone. I would rather smell like Apple than an Ash Tray. When I work on cars, I stink. When I BBQ I smell. Not sure why, but my beautiful wife Denise seems to like both of them and I'm likely to get attacked!!!!!

Love the sig.... So true..

It's so confusing how some women can actually like a sweaty man.. LoL over here. One time I worked over 40 hours straight and my woman at the time was all over me like a wild animal. Wouldn't even let me shower first. LoL over here. Women are funny that way, some times.

It's funny how the more tough ghetto broads want their man to smell so nice and clean and how some times more reserved career women like a sweaty rude animal of a man.

Then I'm funny too because I love the smell of the oil wells down in Texas and diesel engines.. I think that we all agree, though, that anything smells better than a cigarette!! And when we're smoking, we really can't tell how it really smells at all.

some of my stronger liquids put out a very musty, slightly sweet, dank. it lingers in the air for about an hour or so. i wouldn't have noticed it if my wife hadn't complained one night. i try to vape the more pungent smelling ones in rooms with better air circulation or outside. but for the most part, my liquids are mild smelling if not slightly pleasant.

How Soon We Forget,,,,what we used to really Smell like......Ask your family/children/employees/Anybody......Later...
I couldn't agree more! In my experience, once people realize that the smell is gone, you don't even have to ask them to tell you what you used to smell like-they seem to enjoy volunteering it. And all I usually say is that I had no idea and sorry. I figure I owe them that.

I have asked all my friends and family if they can smell the vapor on me from my E-cig, all have replied NO, that they can now smell my perfume (which I no longer have to drown myself in to attempt to cover the cig smoke) I can not smell it on others either.

Now having said that...

I smoked for 31+ years and have been smoke free and vaping for the last 6 months, I walked into a Casino yesterday and nearly fell over from the smoke!
After about an hour I had such a headache and could no longer stand the smell!
I am so glad that if I DO indeed smell of vapor it is no longer a horrible offensive rip your eyes out of the socket smell:)

The specific liquids you use can indeed make a difference. No one can ever smell it on me, and with the Dekang ones I started with, little or no smell in the air around me. With the TV and VS liquids I gravitate towards nowadays, among other fine vendors, and the natural extracts they work into their mixes, the odor does indeed become much stronger. Not that anyone at work minds a little Double Chocolate/Dark Coffee wafting around once in awhile! Even air fresheners never smell this good. It dissipates quickly, too, of course. The only one I'm not allowed to vape in the house is TV Kretek, the wife says it's just too strong!

On my first day of vaping, my nose could smell the juice too. Then I put the battery in the charger, and lit a cigarette.
After my shower and re-washing my hair, I threw out the garbage/w/cigarette butts in it, and never lit another. I noted the exact day and time I smoked my last one. That should tell you something.
I never liked that juice, it was with the NPro kit, so don't really know what it was, but after a time I found Johnson Creek 'Original', with yummy hints of tobacco, caramel and hazlenut. It smelled delicious walking into my laundry room, I could catch it there sometimes. Not one person ever complained about the smell.
So juice does make a difference. I love a good tobacco flavor/aroma, now I DIY my own juice. JC stopped making my favorite, so I duplicated it. YAAAAY, ECF DIY!!
Actual Formula is on Post #9
