why do you add vodka or water to vg?

I've been wanting to cut my pg use right down. My ejuice calculator suggests vodka and water to cut it with.. I don't understand the usecof vodka, is thst to make it burn easier? Would water slow down the burn rate? Does vodka leave a bad alcoholic aftertaste? Any ideas from the pros at ECF?

Ok your thread title says vg and your post says pg. Which is it? If it is vg, it is to thin the juice and make it wick/absorb easier. I have never heard of adding either to pg.

You can add water or alcohol to thin your VG rather than using PG. That way, you can use PG only in the flavorings. I wouldn't use more than 10%. Alcohol gives more throat hit than water, of course.
