Simply stated----I vape so I won't smoke.

Falling in love with vaping and suddenly finding myself not wanting analogs was an instant side effect of the transition. I'm very content and have been since day one, nearly 11 weeks ago. E cigs are a miraculous device for analog addicts and the creator should receive world wide recognition and honor for the great deed they have done for mankind.

I truly believe if someone broke in my home and stole all of my vaping supplies, I would tear open the pack of analogs I have in my freezer and smoke until my new PV and juice arrived.....but I sure wouldn't enjoy them and I would pay whatever I had to pay to get my package here the next day.

The reason I did it is simple, I was a long-time smoker who loved smoking, but didn't want to die from it. Vaping is a much more enjoyable expierience.. it's almost a hobby in and of itself with all these different kinds of pv's and the vast amounts of flavors.

Sorry, I couldn't find an edit button, but to add to this, I haven't had a single analog cigarette since I started vaping and I'm never looking back so long as I'm able to get my vape on.

Why do I vape?

I've smoked for over 14 years and in those years I've quit several times and always came back to analogs in the end. Just last year, I quit for 8 months and one day I nearly had a nervous break down and smoked 1 analog and felt all the pressure go away with each puff. I absolutely hate the smell of analogs on things.

Currently I'm vaping AC or other cinnamon mixes, and it's an extremely pleasant smell and my fiance is vaping strawberry cheese cake and it has a very good smell to it too.

So maybe I vape just for the pleasant odors and taste. I'm still battling with analogs each day. I vape mostly, but I still have a few analogs each day and more so on the weekends.

Smoked for about half of my life almost, and at 27 OMG thats alot.
Dr. said they were worried, though I might be developing emphysema. So I HAD to do something, but I couldn't kick the cig no matter how much I hate the smell or the aftertaste.
Saw a e-cig disposable in my local gas station, tried it, hated it. (Super cheap knock off one) Googled E-cigs and bought a few disposable 510's from Boge and some e-liquid. After a rough start and still some rough moments I have been solo vaping for about two weeks now. Tried a friends analog the other day to see the taste and almost wanted to vomit.

Happy as can be but having issues with one of my disp 510. :glare:

I'm vaping because I wanted to quit smoking and have tried the patch, the lozenges, the gum, and cold turkey and nothing worked because nothing was satisfying the whole hand to mouth thing and the smoke. I hate the taste and the smell of analogs but I loooove my nicotine, and now I get my nicotine without the stinky side effects :)

I smoked for 45 years and love smoking, but was getting sick of the taste, but still needed the nic and watch the smoke I exhaled. I had no clue that I would stop smoking 2 months ago when I got my first kit, but I did and it was very satisfying knowing I could have my cake and eat it too. I got carried away with buying everything it became an obsession, but now I'm putting it into perspective and will now start saving money and feel even better about this whole experience. I am a very happy PV user.

Because I knew I needed to quit and had not been able to go for more than one day without a cig. I figured might as well try them and if it didn't work, I wouldn't be any worse off except for a few dollars. Amazingly I could tell it might work from the first use of the PV.

5 months since I stopped smoking and I could not be happier.

Between going through a separation w/ my english wife, and the financial state back here in the US. I've been having a really difficult time trying to support my habit especially w/ the 300% tax increase on RYO tobacco and was really struggling. I really had no intention to quit, but a friend who has to quit or his insurance will skyrocket asked me to look them up for him. I found this site and after reading about it I decided to try it myself for the following reasons:

1)cost - from links to other sites for juices and such figure I could save up to 50% since FL isn't as bad as places like NY or the UK.

2)usability - can use it in several places (even if in stealth) that i'd NEVER be able to have a cig (or dip according to the last flight i was on)

    3) flavors - so much better than just regular and menthol ('nuff said)

    4) modding - so many ways I can "play" w/ my new toy.

So, after deciding to try it, i searched and the best deal i found was aquavapor's site and ordered their mini start-up kit (DSE901) with an extra battery. it arrived just Thursday and i'm mostly pleased w/ it. it seems a bit lighter as i'm used to deep inhales and getting a chest hit from smoking. but all in all i've only had 2 cigs since it came. from 30+ RYO's a day (non filtered of course.) though do wish i could get a little more out of it but i'm working on that.

Already i've added straws to the carts, and found a removable pen clip that i've adjusted to slide onto the atomizer for easier carrying, but already am planning other mods and such out on paper so i can experiment as things need replaced. I think this will turn out to be a really nice new toy.

Well, I sure as heck wasn't ever going to stop smoking.
I never even tried to quit smoking, and had no plans of doing so.

So I guess I vape because I didn't want to die any sooner than necessary.

personally i'm not as sane as the rest of you so i almost miss the carcinogens. but until PM and RJR can come up w/ coffee and irish cream flavored cigs and get it to where i could smoke wherever i wanted they're pretty much SOL.

I started to vape in order to stop analogs more than a year ago.
Now i vape because of the immense satisfaction it gives me.
Also, I enjoy mixing liquids and trying new flavors...there is always something to look forward to.
I have gotten to the stage where i am totally satisfied with my equipment, know what works for me...
I have tried analogs about 4~5 times in one year, and they feel strange in my hands...and they taste quite awful.
Moreover they do not deliver the lung hit and throat hit that I enjoy while vaping.

I like to hike and camp and do a lot of outdoor activities and the use of analog's was killing my lungs. I started vaping as an alternative to smoking and I bought all the same flavor at first, and I was surprised to find out that I actually don't like the menthol/tobacco flavor anymore; its vanilla all the way :D and now I don't stink up my clothes or any other place I go except for the great aroma of vanilla lol :toast:
