Why does JoyeTech's logo look so cheap?

Actually, I think the Joye logo is fine.

It's the Provari logo I can't stand - largely because it's not integrated into the overall design of the device, and just looks kind of slapped on there. Also, it's too big, which is always tacky, and - to make matters worse - it looks quite awful with that funny tear drop pattern at the bottom.
