I just started using a 5V mod. What am I doing wrong?

I tried 1.5ohm dual coil cartos. They started tasting burnt after 4 hits.

I tried 1.25ohm dual coil cartos. They tasted like burning paper after 1 hit.

I tried 1.7ohm single coil cartos. They tasted burnt after 2 hits.

I tried Fuze 3.0 ohm single coil cartos. They taste burnt unless I keep pumping juice into the bottom, condom method. I used 3 ml of juice in 30 minutes filling it this way. Does a 5V box mod use a tremendous amount of juice compared to my 3.7V 1000mah Kgo?

Thanks for your input on this!!

Sandy it will use a considerably larger amount of juice comparitively...when I started using my VV box mod around 5v I was amazed and somewhat stunned at the increased amount of juice it went thru...especailly w/dccs(1.5ohm) and forget about using the 1.7s on it...just too hot to use with any reasonableness...I am now using 3..2ohm Boges and it still uses juice faster than 1.7s at 3.7v...I also find using a very high VG levels(85%) helps keep up with juice usage.........

...no, I am NOT using 2ohm Boges...I am using 3.2 ohm Boges I got from madvapes when I ordered my batts from them...VV does give more options BUT, I find, I mostly leave it set at 5v and use 1.5-2ohm dual coil Smoktech cartos or the 3.2 Boges...all at 5v...I still use my E-Power with the 1.7 Resurrectors regularly as well.............

p.s. yes, take shorter hits or "pulse" the button while taking longer hits........mj
