Oh, my gawd ... that's not gonna happen! LOL
Two liters is not a lot, that's ridiculous. Makes come to mind that TV commercial (forget the product) promoting some fiber suppliment, where the woman is eating raw vegetables all day long. But, I do drink a lot of iced water (just not 2L per day).
Ridiculous? Not so much....criticism of my point may be lacking in judgement on details. I'm not particularly "average" in my intake requirements. I'm 5'2", 145 pounds, actively working in a rather physically strenuous occupation, but not terribly aerobic. There is no average, without stressing what "average" is.

If you eat a healthy diet, about 20 percent of your water may come from the foods you eat. If you eat a healthy diet you can drink 69.2 ounces of water today, or 2.1 liters.
Everyone has a different exercise, physical stature, work, temperature, diet, medications, humidity, etc to live in. Here's an interesting little test: See if your intake should be different from mine: It just may!
There's a few notations along the questioning you should also read,
sometimes water is not a good idea to overdo. And water intake should be broken down into an all-day ingestion. Along with everything else you eat or drink, how much liquid is comprised of sugary or caffeinated, or alcoholic ingredients? A nice cold beer sounds good to me right about now.

Hm-two litres is actually not alot when you consider most sodas now come in 1 litre bottles...........but I pee a LOT drinking this much water. Some days it gets ridiculous.

i just started vaping yesterday. and i agree! i pee so much my toilet is yelling at me..i find if my mouth gets too dry. a little bit of mouth wash helps saliva production.

the dry throat effect from vaping being a humecatant for me occurs worst when im sleeping, often a few hours after going to bed. kind of a few hours into sleep, I sometimes wake up noticing my throat is dry as a bone, water would likely help a lot, and I generally do drink enough of it, just not wanting to drink too much before bed.

Thursday, I got my e-cig in the mail. Friday, I vaped all day. My friend and I went out to a bar and split six shots and three pitchers of PBR. Maybe that's not a lot, but I weigh 152lbs. I vaped from home, to the bus, on the bus, in the saloon, and when I got home, I went and had a cigarette. I puked after one drag. The point to this story is, even after all I drank, NO liquid came up. So yup....vaping seems to be very dehydrating, even though the solutions I use are promoted as PG (free).

I drink A LOT of water. The factory I work in was really dry this winter and I was nothing BUT thirsty. We have Mountain High water in coolers all over the plant. It is ice cold coming out of the dispenser which I am incredibly partial to (I like all my drinks to be on the verge of frozen)... I drink so much and it tastes so good that I started calling it crack water...

Since I started vaping, I've noticed the cottonmouth too... which is fine because I've gotten used to drinking constantly. But, the side effect of drinking that much water is definitely always having to pee...

This was interesting for me. 3.1 liters is what it suggests... which is actually about 2 liters short of what I think I am drinking throughout the day..lol... which would also explain why my body needs to get rid of all that excess water..

I also have always had a disposition to drinking a lot... and my 8 year old seems to share the same thing... for me, I love the way ice cold liquids feel in my mouth and for some reason, I love the action of drinking...

here's my view... I have to drink a lot when i vape. I've noticed something... Load up an e-cig and press the power button without even getting it close to your mouth. The amount of vapor the pours out is exactly zero.

Obviously, to produce vapor, water has to figure in. That water is coming from you.

genius! Your so right... Wonderful observation. Totally solves that question of thirst. Was looking for the answer after viewing so many posts and this makes absolute sense.
