Why don't I ever see fellow vapers?

Trust me, in a year, you will. Shops are popping up all over in LA. The west coast is just now catching on.

I have yet to see a fellow vapor in the wild. i know that there are some in my area.. however. myself and my wife (grumpybutt here on ecf) try to look for any fellow vapors in this area and well.. so far no go.. I have spoken to several up in the centerville ohio area in the local B&M store Vaporcast. but alas none too many locally in my area.

I've been vaping for not even 10 days yet, and I'm already tired of the attention my lavatube gets. You have to go through the same conversation with every person who sees it, because nobody has ever seen one before.

I suspect that a lot of people who use these things don't make it too public, for that reason alone.

Also, there are the ones who think it looks like something else...

On the other hand, I don't think I'm going to be the only one for long -- several friends and coworkers are already looking to get their own.

That's great! It depends which part of Ohio you're in. There are lots of vapers in and around the Columbus area. I, unfortunately, live in Northwest Ohio which is much more conservative and less vaper friendly, esp. toward the larger mods like the Provari.

im in a city of overr 350k, but i seem to be one of few, and one guy seems to be selling old gear at 1.5 markup with untested juice... it is interesting, i hope he is not selling juice with untested nic.... that could be dangerous
