If only we could get the gun lobbyist on our side
that's because your not looking.
half of the eighty percent of non-vapers/smokers are to busy working
to make ends meet. the other half are on the dole and don't wan't to
rock the boat.
do you realize only 0.002 % of the population is actually
involved from the grass roots level up to elected officials
in the law making process?

Fines and fees mostlyIt cost them millions fighting it or changing labels or lost sales?
I always thought Joe Camel was sorta strange....
Oh my... cartoons on ejuice? Well, who was the idiot that allowed them to buy a cartoon labeled nic juice? This country is becoming too nanyish. There are plenty of influences out there, not just on ecigs, but in general life.
Guns in video games.... but they don't impose a tax on video games that are violent. I guess they want to endorse kids with guns.
Illegal drugs... they don't have cartoons on them, but children still manage to get them..wow.. someone should tax them to keep them away from children....?
There's a cartoon bubble on the scrubbing bubbles line of cleaners.. they even named the bubbles... I guess they must be wanting the children to play with them....
Snoop dog appearing in a children's cartoon... Gee, If they idolize him in a cartoon, they are supporting what he sings about.. to kids.
McDonalds luring kids with toys... I guess replacing the french fries in a happy meal totally makes up for the fat and cholesterol in the hamburger.
There are just soo many things people could be fighting about when it comes to labels and children. Instead of putting out a million "flash fires" they perceive as dangerous, why not go straight to the source... education. Teach the children, and try to teach some common sense. Cartoon characters on Ejuice bottles should be low on anyones priority. Put a warning label and a childproof cap and there should be nothing wrong. I liked Yosemite Sam when I was growing up. I would get a kick seeing a Yosemite Sam ejuice bottle saying "Fracking Rackin good juice". If a child sees it, and is able to open it, then I fault the parent. I've been in that situation before, and I have nobody to blame but myself.
we do not need standards.Yes, but, instead of regulations, why not have standards? Manufacturing quality standards, purity standards, nic % standards, ingredient standards.....
Have these things and if manufacturers are found lacking in the standards, then you would know which companies to avoid!
Only fines if you violate a law or regulation. Fees for what?Fines and fees mostly
It is not just the ones with a big clutch of kids expecting the govt to pay for them. Responsible parenting is mostly dead in the USA. I do say mostly.I don't have kids, call me selfish, don't care. At the same time, my friends with kids understand they have to be diligent and do their best to prepare them for the big world. You can only hope they do a good job!
Then there are the folks that have an entire clutch of kids an expect the gooberment to parent for them and pay them to do it!!
That's where my problem lies!
Little more off topic but had to say it!!
This is one of the best comments on this thread. I salute you Neal. Also prohibition never stopped anything. And I will guaranty I will vape as long as I want to . Throughout history I've admired the ones that stood up for what they believe. I see no honor in conceding half the industry away . I will be vaping away as I fight the real enemies. Meanwhile some vapers will be continuing to fight me over non issuesOh my... cartoons on ejuice? Well, who was the idiot that allowed them to buy a cartoon labeled nic juice? Not the first time The Captain has been in the News.

And the bottom line is that Lost Art got exactly what they were after Media Attention (free advertising). Advertising does not always need to be positive to have a positive impact on the bottom line.
I will say that these folks care a lot more about their business profits in the short term.
Hey I love Art. And have a lot of Respect for those who Create it.
Take this for Example...

G2 Vapor 15ml G2 Vapor 15ml - $7.50
Very Cool Art. Good Staging. Nice Tonal colors in the Background. And I think the Artist who created this did a Fantasic Job of Capturing the Essence of Youth in her eyes and the Slightly toed in feet. Throw in the Contrast of the Chainsaw and Blood splatters. Good Stuff.
But.
To put this Image on a Bottle of e-Liquid is just Asking ANTZ Senators to present this during a FDA Deeming Hearing and Claim that e-Cigarette Companies are Marketing to Minors.
Doesn't have Anything to do with Not Respecting Art or Artists.
Why do People/Retailers want to Help ANTZ Senators make the e-Cigarette Industry Look Bad?
I just don't understand why a person is so worried about "giving them ammunition" . I mean it doesn't matter what they bring to a battle if you start the battle waiving a white flag.

Call me shallow but I like cool looking things. I enjoy a good label and don't want to trade that for plain packaging with a number and a color code to bow down to ANTZ who kick you again after you lick their jackboots anyway...
