Why don't we just use ANTZ own tactics against them?

Instead of going on the defensive anytime we hear:
"use of eCigarettes may be as dangerous as smoking"
"studies have shown that eCigarettes contain known carcinogens"

Why don't we instead LEAD with our own, 'carefully worded' statements:

"use of eCigarettes may increase intelligence and cure impotence"
"studies have shown that eCigarettes contain vital nutrients"

all of these are absolutely true... it just depends on how it is worded

Ecigarettes don't cause forest fires.....

What-causes-forest-fires1.jpg

Discarded cigarette butts pose a significant threat to our environment in terms of fire. Every year, forest fires ravage vast areas, killing off wildlife and vegetation that take years to return. Some of those fires are started by natural causes; drought, lightening and the like. But according to the National Fire Protection Agency, upwards of 90,000 fires every year in the United States alone are caused by cigarettes. Cigarette-induced fires claim hundreds of lives in the United States each year, and injure thousands more, not to mention the millions of dollars that go up in smoke in property damage.

ever since I started using E-cigs, the weather has gotten cooler and wetter here in Central Texas. Obviously E-cigs combat global warming and are bringing rainfall to our drought areas. What else could it be? :)

no no... you're missing the point... it has to be TRUE:

"There is some evidence to suggest that eCigs combat Global Warming and may cause a reduction in global drought and famine"

;)

E-cigarettes have been known to stimulate the economy. 1 billion in sales can't be wrong.

yes see... that's a good one... But leave out the qualifier...

"eCigs have been known to stimulate the economy"

or

"eCigarettes may prove to bring about the end of these tough financial times"

"E-cigarettes may cause freethinking!"

Wait that's a government reason to ban then. It is illegal to think for yourself.

Ayn Rand:

"I like to think of fire held in a man's hand. Fire, a dangerous force, tamed at his fingertips. I often wonder about the hours when a man sits alone, watching the smoke of a cigarette, thinking. I wonder what great things have come from such hours. When a man thinks, there is a spot of fire alive in his mind--and it is proper that he should have the burning point of a cigarette as his one expression."

"Sherlock Holmes sat silent for a few minutes with his finger tips still pressed together, his legs stretched out in front of him and his gaze directed upwards to the ceiling. Then he took down from the rack the old and oily clay pipe , which was to him as a counselor, and, having it, he leaned back in his chair, with the thick blue cloud-wreaths spinning up from him, and a look of infinite languor in his face."

Holmes again, to Watson:
"It is quite a three pipe problem, and I beg that you won't speak to me for fifty minutes."

Or, we can remember the case in which Holmes needed a pound of the strongest shag tobacco to resolve the problem and stayed alone all the day smoking, and Watson found him in a sort of trance, in a room that "was so filled with the smoke that the light of the lamp upon the table was blurred by it and my first impression as I opened the door was that a fire has broken out".

Damn, I swear I read something about it somewhere! It is funny, I read George Orwell's 1984 as a child, and it is scary but that book had a lot of truth in it.

I listened to Van Halen's 1984 while reading George Orwell's 1984 back in 1984.....needless to say, my parents didn't hug me enough as a child I don't think. ECigs make me forget about that.

"An ingredient in e-liquid has been shown to reduce the prevalence of bacterial infections and is recommended for use in air-handling systems to combat the spread of Legionnaire's Disease."

I'd go with...

"At least one ingredient in e-liquid has been shown to reduce bacterial infections and is recommended for use to combat Legionnaire's Disease."

;)

more qualifiers, less specifics
I'm getting good at this.
