I have used a lot of PV's and the REO is absolutely most convenient. Before I had the REO, I used the tube PV's with tanks and RBA's, and cartotanks out of the house. I have dropped my ProVari and the cartotank broke. I can't take the RBA's out conveniently because I prefer the fill hole screw out, and that means they do leak unless you maintain them upright. With the REO I put an RDA on it and RDA's don't leak. I do carry a battery box with an extra battery and a carto "just in case" my RDA or battery decide to get finicky. It hasn't happened, but I believe in backups. A battery box is small enough it isn't like having to carry a separate unit.
Because RDA's are bottom fed on the REO (and dripped otherwise) the juice is in the bottle not the tank like with the RBA's. And on the REO, the bottle is in the unit. Filling it is just as convenient as clearos, but without the leaking and muted flavors. The juice is always fresh and I can drip on the go with no hassle what-so-ever. RDA's are super easy to coil because there is no mesh to short on them, so that takes no time at all and one set up lasts a lot longer than a clearo will. Invest 5 minutes, it lasts as long as you squonk often enough to keep the wick from singing. I only recoil them when they gunk up because it is easier for me to recoil with a new wick than to rewick and burn an old coil. Other's might not agree with that, but I have 100 feet of kanthal and I can wrap a new coil in the same amount of time I can thread a new wick. Not so on my RBA's though, new coils are finicky on them.
So, fresh dripping, one packaged unit = ultra convenience and performance.
