No Darwin, No Z tank, and No KICK. This crap is annoying. My taxes are here tomorrow according to the IRS and its hopeless. I cant save money. Ill just buy some more guns and stock up on some ammo. Maybe get a shooting range built.

I give up on the Darwin. Its been out of stock for over a month so if anyone knows of a rebuild able atomizer thats not hundreds of dollars, and by all means, in stock then please let me know. This industry is hurting from all the out of stock products IMO.

i think the main thing is the infancy of the industry in the usa and most of the usa made stuff is made by small business in small garages, not many people have the mass production capability that china has. so they build in small groups and they sell out fast, and i havent ever seen a darwin in stock. i gave up on that pony a long time ago

I do think hording is an issue. Why do u need 60 pv's? Ive been using just one for the last month and its fine. I just want my back up to be more easy then what I have. For me the most annoying is when people keep building up an out of stock item. What are you rubbing it in for? No need to build it up since it will be sold out like Pearl Jam tickets. People staying up till midnight just to pay out the ... for the fifth one in the collection. Get a grip.

i feel a need to chime in... because i am currently living off things that are "limited." although none if it has to do with pv's at all. for example, i collect shoes. i have and WILL spend hundreds of dollars on something because it is limited. sometimes i want it because it is limited. because i can get it while someone might not makes it worth something. it becomes a collectable. and then something new comes out, same style, different color i want it. hell, same color same style i will still want it. to give you an idea, i have over 150 pairs of shoes and mostly limited. and for the most part they are made by nike, the biggest manufacturer of shoes in the world and it will still become limited. it is simply a different mindset.

but yes i can agree to a point, a pv is not really something that can follow the same rule. a new version will eventually come out and it will be better. its technology which will ALWAYS be constantly be improving. but at the same time, i have not seen someone with more than 2-3 of the same mod. but at the same time, IMO there is always something that can do the same thing as another pv, why get so hung up on a specific model? i am not trying to start something at all. this is all just my opinion as someone who "collects:" something other people might find useless.

These things actually are collectables. Look at the GGs that sell for way over their retail price in classifieds. For example here's a real collection. I've often thought that as the technology changes, certain mods are going to disappear. There's liable to be collectors that really want them eventually.

People collect all kinds of things. It's been going on so long no one ever asks why. I have a theory though. I think it's a form of OCD. If you've seen the show Hoarders, you've seen examples of people that can't throw anything away. I've actually known a woman like that. She lived next to my brother. Her garage got condemned by the city for rats which really messed up our fun because we used to sit around drinking beer and shoot them with pellet guns. :) The thing is her son had the worlds largest collection of Frisbees at one time and her daughter collected salt and pepper shakers. Might be something in the genes too.

I myself, also find no need in collecting Mods. I figure once I find the one I really like, I'll stick with it. I just don't see a reason to own 100's of them, but of course, that's me and everyone is different.

I can relate to your issue though, I've been looking for a particular Mod for awhile now and it's been sold out for months. The ones available are used and people are wanting to sell them for the same price as brand new, which I have an issue with. But again, that's just me. Small companies also make this more difficult because they don't keep the stock updated.

Meh.. what can ya do? Just wait I guess.
