What happens if they're banned in NY, does that mean a mail truck carrying our liferafts will be forbidden from travelling through NY if for some reason they need to? (same question about airplanes in NY airspace)

I don't think the transport would be the problem. It is the other "sheep states" that will say "Well New York banned it, we should too"

You mean like all the controlled medications you can trivially import for personal use right now from umpteen countries, that haven't been available without a prescription in the US in, well, forever?

I was not aware about that; on the other hand, in the past few years quite a few states banned the mysterious, somewhat exotic xxxxxx plant, xxxxxcensoredxxxx, and I think that many suppliers started not shipping to everywhere.
edit add- I just hope the crazy lawmakers against ecigs don't go the same route.
(sorry but I censored questionable parts for some people in some states also)

NY does not own the airspace or the land the airports are built on--it is under Federal jurisdiction.!!

Please stop confusing States Rights with international trade.

I've told him that at least twice now, Sun. He's addicted to "airspace" - flatly refuses the concept that states can't own airspace.

And that's before we start talking about impeding commerce on Interstate freeways...

Well John here is a "first version" (v1) --so we will give him a break Adreanalynn---he needs one:)

"Now that the 'War On Drugs' has been 100% effective at stopping the trillions of dollars of hard narcotics flowing into the United States, we're going to order the US Air Force to shoot down any commercial airliner suspected of transporting a passenger that might have a battery or a cigarette ['e-cigarette making materials'] in their pocket."

Sounds silly when you write it that way, right?

That's what you're asking.

Two years is generally considered the expiration.

And on the other topic: Prohibition doesn't work. It has never worked. It can never work.

Outlawing something doesn't change demand, it limits supply. When demand outstrips supply, it drives the price up. When the money to be made outweighs the risk in someone(s) mind, they will offer it for sale. The concept is so simple it's a wonder a few branches of our government can tie their own shoes without dying of asphyxiation for forgetting to breath.

Here's a possible tip for storing filled cartos: Keep them very closed. I have a half of a carto-cover filled with juice on my desk that I have kept for 2 weeks or so, and it's appearing to coagulate. I tipped it over momentarily, and none of it made it out of the container. I am not sure what (if any) VG concentrations it has, I can't remember, but I think airtight containers could help keep the juice more active.

This makes me wonder if standard stock bottles are airtight enough to last 30 months perhaps?

This cracked me up! I have a little "garden" of half filled caps on my desk right now :pervy:
