Here are a couple of examples of my VTR setup without modding the VTR.

First if you are NOT comfortable with the mechanics of taking apart your VTR please do not try any of this.
The SS screws are very tiny and I have no idea where to get replacements or how to repair the threads if cross threaded.

I do not have the link but there is a thread on ECF where the guy has pictures of taking one apart. All of the parts listed are from fasttech but I am sure similar devices can be found elsewhere.

I chose not to mod my VTR (by sanding or removing the ring) so......

Using a T6 torx: WLXY WL2013-T6 Torx Precision Screwdriver
WL2013-T6, Torx T6 / SKU: 1205006 $2.48

1. I remove the 2 SS screws fron the top of the VTR.
2. Also remove the 2 SS screws on the side close to the top button (carefull these are VERY tiny.)
3. With a little bit of wiggling the top section of the VTR will lift up, be carefull not to lift to high or quickly as there is a small wire attached which may tear. You only need to lift it about 1/4in.

For a Genny experience I have used:

Steam Turbine Genesis Style Rebuildable Atomizer (3.0mL)
Stainless Steel / SKU: 1479600 $12.93

But I did get some leaking from sitting with it in my back pocket when out and about.

I do like the Kayfun experience for the vape quality and no leaking in my pocket so now I am using:

Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) converted to a nano;
Kayfun Lite, PMMA / SKU: 1651401 $12.87

Kayfun Nano Body Kit
Kayfun Nano Kit, Stainless Steel (3 Pieces) / SKU: 1649900 $5.19

Replacement tank Section for Kayfun 3.1 / Kayfun Lite
tank Section, Blue / SKU: 1644301 $1.18

I did have issues with the top piece where the drip tip goes into. the small chimney tube did not go into it far enough to screw down all the way so I used the one from...

Spare Parts for Kayfun v3.1 Atomizer
Spare Parts, PMMA(for Kayfun v3.1) / SKU: 1570900 $5.12

After installing the RBA into the 510 simply re-position the VTR top back ( it should sit in the same place it came from with very little effort) and screw it together, the screws should turn in easily and only feel tight when seated all the way in. Do not crank on them they only should be snug so they do not come out by themselves.
I recomend doing this part on a large table so when you drop a screw you can find it!

Pics?

My kick2 from evolv didn't come with any documentation, just a little square see through plastic box with the kick inside.

I didn't be the evolves kick-
I got the sigelei version from fast tech
In a weird place right now with vaping and don't know what exactly I want.
I have my p-thingie(won't say the name don't want to see this thread degenerate)
Have my MVP, eroll and a caravela.
Now I'm torn and really don't know what else I want.
I got the caravela just because it was too good a deal to pass up but the only batts I have are the 18490s for the pthingie- throwing the kick in mostly to be able to use the 18650 tube without needing to get the 18650 batts. If I got the batts I would want the tattroe extension- I'm OCD everything must match.

But now I don't know what other mod to get. Can't afford a DNA so in exploring building one. I can get the pares for right at about a hundred bucks but there is so much more out there in the same
Price range. And I know I need more toppers 3 kayfuns and a patriot just won't work -damn this hobby

Cruise on over to desertvapes.com and check out the ehpro atomic clone. I haven't tried all the rdas out there, but the atomic is the best one for flavor I have and it's only $16.95. Don't worry about more mods right now, what you need is a larger variety of toppers. I don't really think you need a kick, unless you really want a regulated device, just build your coils with your battery limitations in mind. Maybe go to rtdvapor.com and order some sony vct5's. They are about $10 apiece.:)

Ain't that the truth!
I have my list, 2 of them I waiting to see get cloned so that I can try them without spending a hundred bucks.
I'll check out the dripper ... Thinking about a magma and 3d too; I'm more into tanks though. They fit my lifestyle better.

I hate my Magma.. :) Asked FT to return it for credit. If they dont, I'll sell it to ya.. Used 2x. As for a good RDA, I love the Origen v2 from FT (1:1 version).. Awesome flavor, awesome juice holding capacity, and doesnt leak, unlike the Magma that leaks all over all the time.

Yeah, tanks are more convenient on tube mods, but if you ever get into bottom feeders, it's a game changer. I've been busy getting everything I need to convert some of my favorite rdas to being bottom fed.

I've learned to never say never in the world of vaping: but, I'm personally not a fan of bottom feeders - the mods; well, the people too:
Really not a huge fan of box mods either; which is weird cause I love innokins; but, theirs have style.

Yeah, I was never a fan of box mods either, that's why it took me so long to get one. I mean a reo costs as much as a provari, but once I decided I had to try it, it was just wow. Honestly, it's just a better vape than anything I have used and I have used a lot.

I like the reo; it just won't fit my lifestyle. I could only use it if I was sitting at home- which isn't often. That's why I have the p-thingie.
Honestly vaping above the p-thingies limitations would be a novelty for me. And if I were to spend over 150 on another mod I would get myself another p-thingie.

Nothing wrong with that, the p-thingy is a great device, love mine. Just decided to broaden my experience and I'm glad I did. There is no be all end all out there, people are different, that's why it's great to have all the choices we have.

Nah dude; I'm not gonna spend that kind of cash on one. If the vaporshark had batteries that I could replace myself ...maybe. Then again I know nothing about their reliability either. Ehhh I'll do a DIY; projects are good.

Have you sen this gorgeous topper?

I just received my VTR. I've been vaping since the end of March. Still somewhat of a n00b. Still have not strolled into the land of dripping. Not really sure I want to. The reason for my post is battery and charger. What works best? Brands? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I would recommend the nite core intellicharger, you can get on amazon for less than $20. Go to rtdvapor.com for batteries, I would recommend the AW 18650s for the VTR
