The K101 I got from Exhale was one of my first mechs, and I still use it a lot. It's crazy how low the voltage drop is with chromed parts, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a copper layer along with brass under the chrome because of how well it hits. I haven't even sanded down the chrome on the contacts because it doesn't need it. The chrome must be fairly thick because it hasn't worn down like my VAMO.

I got an inline volt meter yesterday and under load my K101 hits as hard as my Nemesis clone and M16 which have silver plated contacts and also the all brass Sentinel I have. My other chrome plated device, the smok e-pipe, has a HUGE voltage drop.

Added to that a very smooth reverse locking ring and a great button, no issues with battery size and everything mounts flush. It's still a contender with all the newer clones even though it's chrome plated brass, and at it's price it's a great value.

I lost mine tonite, a friend wanted to borrow a set and he went for the X8 and my K101+ but I gave him one of my cheapo 18350 batteries and the spare charger and my spare penny kick resettable so he don't blow it up, the x8 is only a mil wider than the top tube of the mod and in 18350 mode with the penny kick in it looks very smooth and stealth and he's well pleased, keeps polishing it.

Chi Yu is same threading? I wonder what else threads in there, I tried my Sigelei 8w bottom cap in my Sentinel M16 but the M16's bottom doesn't fit the Sigelei which is weird as the Sig's bottom fits snug in the Sentinel.

I didnt sand it down for voltage drop, I have mechs with a lower drop if that was the case. I did it cause I liked the looks of it with the black sleeve and kept some parts chromed still, the contacts I did while I did everything else, I mean why not it was already all apart. And the chrome isnt thick on it at all, with a dremel it was ripping through the chrome, I wouldnt recommend doing it by hand though that would take you a while. Out of all my mechs, the K101 just fits perfectly in my hand and I love the firing button. I just recently bought a biomech limited and compared to my K101 I dont like it, it was honestly disappointing in my opinion.

Well damn. When I cleaned my K101 one I today I decided to take the switch all the way apart. That little metal u shaped stopper piece for the switch came off easily enough, but getting it back on is a whole other issue. Spent the last frustrating hour tryin to work it on. Setting it aside for now. Not giving up, but I doubt I'll get it back on. Wonder if I can find just the bottom switch assembly for cheap, otherwise my K101 is going in the spare parts bin.

Are you talking about the C clip? How I did it is I used needle nose tweezers and just pushed it back on, if you notice theres a little notch on the pin for it. How this helps.

Yep, the C clip. I did try using a needle nose tweezers but still can't get the clip over the post. I'm struggling because of the small space. Glad to see if I keep trying it should work. Thanks for the advice.

No problem, it is a pain trust me I know. Its hard to explain how to do it without showing you. Good luck it'll pop in there.

Thanks. I'm sure I'll get it. That clip is really stiff, not much give, which I guess is good until trying to get it back on. Hard to get a good grip on such a tiny piece, even tried using a tweezers in each hand... huge fail right there lol.

Lol sounds about right. I remember when I first did it and I took it off and im sitting there looking at all the pieces about to put it back together and I came to that clip and I was like oh crap. It took a while and I was ......, but I have no patience so that would explain a lot.

Yes, the K2 has a fixed 510 pin but it is somewhat flexible. It works with all my kayfun style clones and drippers. The only thing that I found will not work is the protank, which needs an airflow controller to make the connection.

Thanks tehgyu. What a shame. Without a floating or adjustable pin, it's a no-go for me.

I just got one today. I own a Nemesis and a Chi You already and I have to say I am very impressed with the Kamry. The switch works great, Built solid and is one of the few telescoping mods that I don't hate the look of. Super easy to set up. You see a lot of posts about the Neme and the Chi You etc, why do you not hear more about this very affordable well built mod? Don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing out my Nemesis any time soon, but this is really a great mod and available for a reasonable price. More people getting into mechs should at least consider it. The locking ring and switch are what really floor me though, pretty well done for a cheap mod. For those that have them I would ask what size carto do you put in it, if you use it that way? I bought mine used and he didn't have the carto with it.

I've noticed the same thing, I think what it boils down to is money, if people spend alot of money on something...it's automatically a better product right?! lol Personally I think 99% of mods are created equal, some just look more purdy :p. My favorite mod I own is a Vamo V5 because it feels more accurate (with the charge cutoff too) and I simply like the led screen, whereas my itaste 134 costs 4x as much and doesn't even have a screen. But really I think when people buy something expensive, it buys a bigger place in their heart unfortnately (whether it truly is better or not), that and the company has more money for advertising, marketing, and bribing reviewers of course.

Ok, so I was wrong. Obviously a lot of you like the Kamry 100 & 101. I just never see it as part of the conversation when the " help me choose a mech" threads pop up.

Sent from my intestines using my linear gas accelerator.

I never really see it too, to be honest. Maybe out of 50 replies I may see one or two people throw it out there. All I see is nemesis and chi you.

People who choose the "ohhh shiney, with engraving" like to justify paying double the price??....

What I cant wrap my head around is people getting provari. They look awesome but they are only vv. and the vamo is like a fourth of the price and looks just as cool to me and has Vw as well as vv. Not gonna lie k100 is vaping on a budget. But I'm a poor college student and it works for me. Already broke two ego batteries. I'm rough on equipment lol so it's perfect for me
