I can only compare the FT Nemesis to the FT Chi You.
The Nemmie has a better overall build quality. The Chi has some issues getting everything screwed together without getting a slight gap either below top cap or above button. The "engraving" on the Chi is ... not good. Not in the looks department, but in the feel department. Feels like running my fingers across a small patch of fine grit sand paper. Gives me the chills if my hands are on the dry side.
Design-wise; The Nemmie button is quite cleverly thought up. The Chi button is just your average lets-slap-something-together spring and screw button. The Nemmie is, as others mentioned, 22mm of flush-fitting tubing. The Chi has those rings, and is 23mm. Not much looks flush on it, if anything. Very much personal preference, tho, as this is purely visual design.
The Nemmie adjusts for slightly varying battery lengths by means of tightening the button to the tubes. The Chi has a telescoping center pin; in my case this has to be unscrewed to the point where it almost falls out. Actually, some times it does fall out.
Not my intention to bash the FT Chi clone Just saying it has some issues, while the Nemmie is fairly
flawless according to my criteria. There may well be better Chi clones out there, tho. Still; very much personal opinion, the Nemmie is a more thoughtful design overall.
Anyway; just skip both and get a genuine Paps, imo
As with anything, what gets hyped gets more hyped. There's a lot of great stuff that isn't "big on ECF".
