Why pod mod and not just a mtl tank?

I have wanted to try a higher nic salt like those used in a pod but really cant love the idea of another line of stuffs in my collection yet. Is there some reason i cant just use a triton with a 1.8 coil? Or even the subtank mini with rba and 1.6 coil and smallest air flow hole? I may end up with one i guess IF i find some crazy deal on one that has an rba but i dont think that is going to happen I feel like i never get enough nic,i use 6mg in subs and 12mg in mtl, sooo thinking i need to up it buuuut,do i really need a pod to do this

I use nic salts in all my rta's. You dont need a pod or special tank etc.

I mainly vape DL and use freebase but the same rta I use FB in I will use NS in also

Pods have ergonomic advantages, they are small and convenient. The price being shorter run times and potentially poorer performance.

nope you can use regular or salt nic in both pod systems and tanks, rdas, ect....
the only thing to not do is to sub-ohm a high salt nic (or even regular nic) as you'll make yourself sick

The warning "not for sub-ohm use" only applies to nic in high concentration. You can use protonated "salt nic" anywhere you can use traditional freebase. You can also dilute, say, 30mL of strongly flavored 30mg off-the-shelf juice with 75mL of PG and 75mL of VG to get a nice 6mg sub-ohm juice.

lol you're going to lose a lot of flavor that way though.... you'd be best to mix 30ml of 30mg with 30ml of 0mg of the same juice making it 60ml of 15mg without losing flavor

you could do the math to make it lower, but i'm not doing the math hehehe

Ive seen some stuff with 48mgs and higher and cant understand how people are using it,other than they are using little pods. So i was thinking there maybe some secrete other than little vapes (like my mtl stuff) and not big clouds.

I only use 2-3mg.
I did try a higher dosage in a friends mtl device, about 24mg. For a while afterwards I still felt like having a vape but couldnt because I was too nic'd up. I had to wait a while for the sensation to go away so I could get back to it.

I smoked cloves and cigars....and a lot daily....so I needed the extremely high nic to convert to vaping....
lol that was about 6 years ago, I managed to drop down to 24 after maybe 6 months and then 12... now I'm between 0 - 3

I'm normally 4mg/ml freebase and find I'm OK with 12-24mg/ml nic salts on a tight low wattage pod. You lose all the juice nuances and many eliquids are more bold simpler profiles

Well that's entirely the point ! I find that sub-ohm juice benefits from less flavor since I consume so much more of it. But I understand that's a personal thing. Also personal: paying good money for zero nic juice just feels wrong lol

hehehe that's why i've decided i'm not buying premade juice anymore.... I was going from 3 to 0 like why am I paying for 0? and this way I can do my 1mg instead

I vape 50mg Nic salts in my 1.1ohm MTL RTA at very low watts (16 watts). I have no issues.
