Why so impossible to get the GGTS

I understand the OP's frustration to some degree; I too, would love to obtain a GG without having to pay a jacked up price in the classies with no assurance it's functioning as advertised -- that's my biggest fear, dropped mad cash for something that retails 1/2 the price and then god forbid, something is wrong with it. On the other hand, I understand supply and demand. With that said, I'm willing to wait until Imeo has time to produce more product and get it brand spanking new

there is a vintage one in the classies for 295 thats a kick .... deal on a hardly used GGTS

the parts arent bad on price....a little tough to get sometimes and someone here may have one or know where to get it. like i said there really isnt too many ways it can go wrong....just clean it and keep it clean and it will last a lifetime

Realistically, as long as you keep it clean, you should be fine for a good long while. The things you may want handy would be a couple of each spring and a couple sets of orings. Those would be the most wear. Other than that, what you see mainly is customizing (brass tubes, etc).

If you think about it, every mod has standard wear items. TS is no exception. But the standard wear items you can pick up for say about $10 and basically rebuild the wear items. I am not the best at cleaning until I notice firing issues. And I haven't had to replace these items. But I have them.

Thanks everyone for the replies, although I do think a few of you were a bit harsh at moments but I suppose this is what someone would expect entering a fan boy/girl sub. I never put the GG down in no way shape or form nor did compare it to another device as someone blatantly put so please, do not put words in my mouth. I will be getting a GG more than likely sometime here soon but to post a question in this sub for advice(not criticism) I think would be a shoot in the dark. This isn't a contest...it's a forum

Yeah, the day I decided to get a GGTS I found the perfect one in the classies.. SS GGTS with Stealth Cap. I'm still on the hunt for the brass connections, but the GGTS is still in the mail (in customs actually, hope it leaves soon!)
There have been a bunch of GGTS's in the classies lately! That's definitely your best bet as others have said

I'm definitely going to hit the classifieds with a passion. I'm going to invest in real estate in the classifieds, marry someone and raise my kids, grow old and yell at kids who trample on my lawn in the classifieds... the classifieds are going to be my new home...

Apologies to you T41Ck, some of the GG "fans" get a bit over zealous and defensive if the mention of any thing other than GG being worthy. I apologize if anyone offended you. . I believe there are many beautifully built mods out there, some resemble the GGs and some might be copies, but whatever the case, quality and beauty come in many forms and the only person we need to impress is ourselves.

We all have the right to express our opinions and not everyone has to like everything or everybody, but no one has a right to make someone feel unworthy for having a different opinion.

I dont think the OP said any sort of thing, he was saying how much he loved and admired the GG line, how he had studied and looked at all there was to offer and that after not finding the GG nor atomizers, he had to settle for another item. He now knows that it will take time to get the GG products and was going to wait. In the meantime he needed something.

Then every one started bashing his purchase, maybe they got mixed up with the real cheap copy called the CHI CHI, but heck even if it was , so what. He said he had to settle and thank everyone for the help and that he was hopefully be able get on the future pre-sales or classifieds, etc.

I love my Golden Greek items and recommend them when people ask my opinion, but never ever put people down for not wanting GG.

I didn't understand that part .... the Chi You looks like a Cara, and seems pretty nice. I don't have one, but have seen a couple vids and tons of pics.

The guy comes in here ranting about a limited-availability item, and when other people tell him "well, yeah, availability is limited, but here's where you can go to get one," he stomps his feet and brings up the Chi You as his choice... twice. In a GG vendor forum. Not only is that bad form, it's arguably outside forum rules as well.

If the guy wanted to rant somewhere in a general PV forum about what he likes about the Chi You vs. the GG, that'd be cool. Not so cool here.

Imeo was amazing, and his guidance has also be more than worth what I paid for my GG items. I remember I was afraid to come on here when I first got one because I didnt have a GG PV. I had what I had, what I could afford and what satisfied me. I love the Odysseus, I now soon will have another. I dont need any other, I dont want other types. BUt after this type of situation, once again, Im going to fade from this forum , Im not going to disappear , but If I notice Im being shunned, I will not come back. I have GG friends out side this forum and will seek them for advise if Im shunned. I will always give credit where credit is due, especially to Imeo who has shown me nothing but kindness and understanding and advise that cant matched.

If any thing, the GG is being glorified from coming and slipping the Chi You word in a post to see some insight from the set standard but no... Not here.

It's a pain when you can't get what you'd like, at the time you are ready to. But keep an eye out, and something is bound to come up.

The only harsh here was me as I see it T4. I was not harsh on you of course, but on those copies that are sold so expensive too. And the bad thing is that those expensive copies attract your attention. I just dont like some people trying to make money on customer's back.

You are very welcome to GG forum and if you really want to be informed about several things like GG availability, or availability of GG parts or GG preorders, you have to watch often the forum



I see that you edited your post and reading it again looks much better now. I too wish that you will be able to find the GGTS on classies in a reasonable price and be sure that I understand that you are annoyed with availability but I have made so many GG constructions that its a little difficult to keep up with all of them. I hope that you understand

I guess all I'm going to say, and then duck from a potential tomato, is I'm with Blu on this one. I'm unsure of the comparison to GG. I do see it similar to another mod. Just confused.
