Dear Lavatuve
You served me well. I now do not love thee anymore. My new love is thinner and packs easily as much of a punch. It's not you. It's me. We have just been growing apart. I hope we can still be friends. I'll always love you, I'm just not In Love with you any more.. I have met someone else. I'm so, so sorry
Xx
Didn't you copy that from another member's 'Dear John' love letter to his cigarettes?

Well I got my Twist today, a pretty Blue one at 1000 mah. It is nice and it does do VV vaping quite well. Light weight, a bit tall but the light weight makes up for that. My only gripe and yes I know I am spoiled by my Provari, is it drives me nuts not knowing what volt I am vaping at. I am considering putting little marks on the batts so I know where I am. I have juice I know tastes good at a certain setting and it is annoying me not to be able to do that! Ack! LOL :) But all in all, I think the Twist is great, no not a Provari, but it is a fabulous ego! I think this is the go to device for newbies to actually be able to get off analogs and have fun doing it. 2 thumbs up from me. bnrk

I've decided to pull the trigger on a Twist tomorrow. Just trying to decide if I want the 650 or 1000. I've really grown to like the form factor of the regular eGo 650, so I don't know how big I want to go. My local vape shop is pretty cool, so they'll let me try both out some. There's a nice couch in the place, so I kind of want to be able to kick back for a few pulls with both batteries to see which fits best. And I want to be able to keep it tucked in a pocket while at work, so I have to get a feel for that as well. I mean, I just know that I'm going to end up with both sizes at some point. A 1000 for being around at home, and a 650 for work. But I need to start right sized. Keeping the hardware itself feeling "just right" has been a big thing of keeping me off cigarettes, so yeah.

Quick aside, last week when I was at the vape store for another reason, the owner let me try his twist, and that was mostly my deciding factor right there. It tasted amazing.

My only big question I have ... should I keep using the LR atties I bought for my regular eGo-C kit, or should I switch back to the SR that originally came with the kit?

Personally I prefer the 650. I would rather have two 650's than one 1000. For me the lenght of the 650 is about as long as I want to go for an eGo. I like to set it down standing up or wear on a lanyard, the 1000 is just too long for either of those purposes. But, hey who knows, I may get a bigger one in the future... :) but probably just another 650.

Cool, where did you get a blue one? The only colors I've seen it in are black, stainless, white, and pink.

Sounds like you should start with the 650mah if you want to keep it nice and portable/pocket-friendly/stealthy/just not too damn big. Going with a 650 vs. a 1000 ties in with your next question. Without a doubt, use the higher resistance. That will keep the amps down and prolong the battery life. PBusardo said he got about 4 hours out of a 650 at 2.0 ohms and about 7 hours at 3.0 ohms. Not sure if he was talking single or dual coils, but either way, higher resistance = better battery life.

Yours isn't marked? I hope that's not a "feature" with colored ones, or I won't be buying any :/
Mine (SS) have voltage marked on the dial and a little dot on the battery so you know what it's set at. The markings are pretty small and faint, kinda hard to see, I'd prefer them to be darker, actually....not...non-existent!

Since my last post I've been occasionally paying attention to how I hold my 650 -C. The way I hold it in my hand will allow for the extra length of the 650 Twist no problem. But I will sit on the couch for a bit with the 1000 as well, just to get the right feel. I need to convince the vape store owner to offer up some free WiFi. Be nice to sit with the laptop for a few minutes to try it out with a real life situation.

lol... you can 'pretend' to be surfing the net while trying out the Twist :D. Just to remind you, the 650 Twist is about the length of a 900 mAh eGo.

Heh, yeah I know. But I have ADD. I need actual stimulation to make things work for me. But I have my smart phone, so I can kind of simulate the idea. I've seen the 650 Twist right next to my 650 -C so I have the right visuals. :)

Where is the cheapest place atm for the 650 batts, a charger, and a site that has good clearos if anyone knows?

Liberty Flights has 14 silver 650 mAh Twist batteries left for a special ECF introductory price of $19.99. I think it's a very good price. Don't forget to click the 20% Off button in the upper left corner before you start carting stuff.

Electronic Cigarette - Batteries - Joye eGo-C

I'm not a fan of clearos, but they do carry some... Not sure exactly what kind because I don't use them.

Ohhh, that is a great price on the 650mah. If I didn't want mine immediately tomorrow I would order. I call it a convenience tax to be able to goto a local store and get things, but when I need it right now, I'll gladly pay. :)

But yeah, I think that's the best price I've seen for the 650 since they came out.

The URL didn't work but the one above does. Thanks!!

It's not a URL--it's a link to my post above. :D

Anyway, I've been dealing with Liberty Flights for almost two years and they are very good. And since they are in San Diego, I get my orders within 24 hours. Can't beat that!

Good luck and don't forget the 20% off button!

I agree. And they ship first class, so that's just 2 bucks or so. Very reasonable.

BTW, I love my Twists. They work as advertised and the 650 mAh size is perfect for me.
